Can I cut/ break this pill in half, or is it time release? I do not generally take painkillers but my sister gave me one since I am unable to move my neck. ## Cut it in half with a sharp knife. I recently found a bottle of pills that says hydromorphon (without the e) 8mg and the bottle also says it is a replacement for dilaudid. I got a script from the drugstore for 2mg dilaudid and when I open the bottle there were white ones in there but I saw some cotton in the bottle pulled it out and the rest of the pills were orange whats up with this? I'm on percocet and diluadid after my 4th lumbar surgery. A family member forever asking for them. I knew how many I had before and after they left. Honestly I didn't see who took it so since they want to steal and leave me in pain I want to catch them and pay back. I ordered myself a locked pill container so can't happen again but really I want to fill my box I use with something OTC. My percocet is big yellow and round. Hi, my brother has rectal cancer. They did the surgery and now he has a poop bag and is waiting for his chemo treatments. They say his white blood cells aren't producing enough to do the chemo. He is addicted to Dilaudid. Not sure of the mg., but he administers it at least 3-4 times a day. He knows he's addicted. He doesn't know that I know of his problem. My question is, "do Dilaudid's affect the white blood cells?" A compounding pharmacy creates the medications as specially ordered from someone's doctor. This may be done for several reasons, such as someone needing a combination of medications that isn't available on the market. Tell everyone who is using anything that they cannot prove came from a pharmacy. A dear friend of mine got very sick and almost died when he received an 8mg dilaudid looking tablet. It was fake. If you compare it to the real thing there are very subtle differences. The white tablet w/ LCI 1355 has slightly different letters and number 1 than the real one.The letters should look just like they do here. Not Roman style or more fancy lettering. Be careful people.
