I have a massive toothache and was looking through my old prescriptions for something for pain. I found a bottle that the label is faded from being kept on the windowsill and was wondering what the pills were. They are small, white with a fancy V on one side and blank on the other. Any ideas? It's early Saturday morning and I can't get to the dentist until Tuesday and Tylenol isn’t cutting it anymore. ## I'm sorry, but there aren't any prescription pain medications that just have a V on them, they all have additional numbers or letters. If this only has a V then it is only logical to conclude that it's something that's available over the counter and I'm sorry to say that leaves the possible options very wide open as to what it may be. this is a round medium sized pill and looks like this GP 12 v ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill imprinted with GP 127. White oblong pill. Has a score on 1 side and nothing on the other ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine that this may contain. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription tablet, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a very large number of over the counter products and there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

I came across this pill in my medicine cabinet and I have no idea what it is or how it got there. It's a small white round pill with the number 8 imprinted on one side and blank on the other. I'm Canadian, btw, so i think it may be some generic version of another drug. Any help? ## Someone who was looking for this same pill had suggested that it may have been Dilaudid (8mg); however I can't seem to find any specific details online that might help verify this. Dilaudid is used to relieve moderate to severe pain and severe, painful dry coughing. Does the name of this drug sound vaguely familiar at all, based on past prescriptions?
