oval white pill one side has c 40 other side has looks like an arrow ## Hi Linda, From what I could gather, I strongly believe that this pill is Citalopram (40 mg). I found these pills in a drawer and I would like to know if you could tell me what they possibly could be? Over the counter or prescription drug? ## The current regulations of the U.S. FDA require that all prescription medications have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The only exception is for medications that are specially formulated by a compounding pharmacy, and they use capsules. Thus, if a tablet doesn't have a marking, it is most likely an over the counter product, of some type. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have two small oval shaped white pills with no markings on one side and a split line on the other side....not sure if markings rubbed off (chalky texture) or if its just a plain pill. Was told it was xanax....?? PLEASE IDENTIFY ## You should never take a pill based on what 'you're told'. What you have would be impossible to know, it sounds like a saccharin. A prescription medicine legally made in this and most other countries have an imprint. ## @Carmella, There's actually an Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 1,000 mg tablet that closely fits this description. And while I'm not certain who makes it, most vitamin C tablets I've come across have been naturally chalky. Like Eddy said though, it's probably impossible to know what you have (unless you were to get it ana...

White oval pill with blue specs imprint p r on one side ## @Todd, A description of a white oval pill with blue specks is usually indicative of the weight loss drug known as Phentermine. However I have yet to come across any specific details matching the P R on one side. Whereabouts did you come across this pill? I also wonder if the letter P or R look uniquely shaped/cursive-like/close together/etc..? Any additional clues or insight would be appreciated.

sleeping medication. used to give in hospitsals in the1980 ## Do you recall if there was any sort of imprint or marking on the pill? I do know that all U.S. prescription drugs are required by law to have a marking of some kind for identification purposes. If this pill has no marking then odds are that it may be an over-the-counter sleep aid or possibly even a foreign medication (made outside of the US). Any other details would be great if you can. Thanks!

I received these big white oval shaped pills over the internet that I believe were supposed to be DHC but are not (not tramadol either which I sometimes order). These are about 3 times the size as DHC and do not have an imprint, a score line, nothing. I took some thinking they were a generic and I just felt kinda out of it and dosed off for like an hour or two then they wore off. They felt nothing like any opiate. Maybe its some type of Flexiril or something. ## Hi Julie, Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what this pill is since it doesn't have an imprint. It may be what you ordered, but just a very weak formula. Purchasing pills online is very risky, as I'm sure you realize now. Many online companies sell pain medications that are filled with random inactive ingredient...
