Without any markings, it's difficult to determine what this is with any certainty. It's most likely an over the counter product. Where was it found? Some OTC products can be regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? white oblong with mb57 on it. ## I cannot find a listing for this in the U.S. prescription drug databases, I even tried altering it and looking under both mb and mp, since there are pills with both on the market. They are all prescription medications, that makes me wonder if, perhaps, this came from a foreign country? Do have any other information to add? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

I think the pill is a form of diet pill, decrease appitite or what ever type of pill, but I threw away the bottle, so I don't know what this pill is for sure! ## This is not a form of diet pill rather it is guifensin 600mg/phenylephrine 30mg. This is a generic form of Entex La and many others. It is a decongenstant/phlegm or mucus thinner. It helps one to stop coughing yet be productive in expelling the phlegm when one does cough. Look out for marked drowsiness, yet the possibility of insomnia as well, tarry stools, fainting or sweating spells.
