Quinine is a medication used to treat malaria and babesiosis. This includes the treatment of malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum that is resistant to chloroquine when artesunate is not available. While sometimes used for nocturnal leg cramps, quinine is not recommended for this purpose due to the risk of serious side effects. It can be taken by mouth or intravenously. Malaria resistance to quinine occurs in certain areas of the world. Quinine is also the ingredient in tonic water that gives it its bitter taste.

Someone please help to identify a white capsule with writing Watson 716 325 mg ## This capsule contains 325mgs of Quinine, which is most commonly used as an antimalarial medication. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, constipation and erectile dysfunction. And while this medication is greatly rumored to cause miscarriage in pregnant women, that is not true. Pregnant women that take high doses of it to attempt such are more likely to suffer renal failure and not a miscarriage, so please be careful and don't believe the myths. I am using amlodipine besylate 10 mg once a day for high blood pressure a white pill with the numbers of 93 on one side and the numbers of 7168 on the other side. Could this medication be for treatment of only high blood pressure? With the above medication i am also being giving irbesartan 300 mg. Can you cut 7.5 mg hydrocodone in half?
