this is a round medium sized pill and looks like this GP 12 v ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill imprinted with GP 127. The placement of the "7" could make it look like an upside down "v". I noticed you put a "v" in your description of the pill so I'm thinking this has to be it. GP 127 is identified as Metformin hydrochloride 850 mg. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. White short oblong pill with watson 853 on one side and line on other side ## Hello, Kellie! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. These are the tablets that used to be yellow, but Watson recently started removing the dye from their products, due to some people being allergic to them. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have always taken the Watson 853 yellow pill and for some reason I was just given Watson 853 white pills. What is going on? Why the color difference? ## It seems from other posts made on here recently that Watson is just removing the dyes from some of their products. There have been some complaints from people that have had sensitivity or allergic reactions to them, so they have been doing away with them. However, as long as the imprint is the same and your pharmacy has listed it as being the same medication and the same dosage, then you shouldn't have any reason to worry. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Not the same for sure! ## I have experienced poor results with the white pills. If they are different and labelled the same then walgreens is liable for damages! ## ...

No worries people, the yellow 853 are exactly the same as the white one's, JUST NO DYE ## For anyone else wondering, I can also confirm that "dye" is the only thing separating these two pills. According to nih.gov, the 10 mg/325 mg and 10 mg/750 mg tablets include "D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake" You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! ## Well, jbone & David, I can't see why so many, myself included, have had such ad reactions to the white Watsons. I don't take narcotics often but I did for 11 years. I have never had this type of problem with hydrocodone as I did last week! It didn't touch my pain at all and it made me very sick! Something is going on with them, most definitely! ## There is s...

I've got the white Watson 853's. I also feel less pain relief from them. I also have mild signs of withdrawal moderate head ache, nervousness and shaking. If indeed they were 10/325 they'd at least care of a head ache. Right? Not having the oringinal prescription I can't read the micro print to see if they're a placebo. Doctors do prescribe placebos to see if you're in pain or not. I fact I can could spend hours telling you what kind of games/tricks that doctors will play. I know because I've been treated for chronic pain since 1996. Some doctor are worse than others. But, it always comes down to them not wanting their names appearing on a DEA agents desk. Many pain doctors won't prescribe cause they're needle jockies. At a pain clinic the CNP prescri...

I'm not sure why ppl are having different reactions but i myself have taken hydrodone almost 16 yrs now for MS. then developed AML also . I've had every form of it. i know the exact feeling i get starting with in my head, chest ,stomach ,etc as it's working . these are hydro. they're actually stronger than the yellow I've took 6yrs. it actually made me sick first dose cz I'm used to taking 2at time ,so did with these. only question i have is why do they start dissolving immediately in my mouth &why do they taste so strong ?? I don't remember that before ## The fast dissolving and stronger taste may just be due to them not having a coating on them, while many of the others do. Some manufacturers use a coating to make their pills easier to swallow and to pre...

I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. Found this pill with Watson 853 on it. This was broken in half on the floor, the person is pregnant and has a toddler in the house. Could she be taking this pregnant??? She said her grandmother must have dropped??? Worried ## What reason do you have to not believe her? This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. No, it shouldn't be taken while pregnant, but she may have been telling you the truth. Perhaps her grandmother just needs to be more careful, when visiting.
