this is a round medium sized pill and looks like this GP 12 v ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill imprinted with GP 127. The placement of the "7" could make it look like an upside down "v". I noticed you put a "v" in your description of the pill so I'm thinking this has to be it. GP 127 is identified as Metformin hydrochloride 850 mg. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. had a party and afterwards found a few pills laying on my floor near the bed....just wondering if they are generic OTC pain relievers or something else??? ## If there are no markings on them, it is going to be difficult to determine what they contain. We can rule them out as being U.S. prescription medications, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, yes, they could be any one of a large number of over the counter products, but there is also a small chance that they could be a foreign medication. Have you tried asking anyone if they lost anything?

This pill does not help with pain management and riteaid does not stand for the customer. Too bad for me. ## A white oval pill marked with U16 on one side and blank on the other reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone HCL (7.5 mg), made by Aurolife Pharmaceuticals. This pill also contains the following set of inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide + croscarmellose sodium + crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + corn starch + stearic acid If some other manufacturer's version works better for you, it may be a good idea to take note of each inactive ingredient so you can better determine what it is that might be causing this lack of efficacy that's not apparent with other brands/generics. With this in min...

I received my metformin 500 Er pills, white elliptical, for diabetes 2. I was given 3 bottles 360 each. I opened the 3rd bottle and noted the pills are a little smaller and instead of IP 178 on the pill...it has 101 imprinted on one side and the other side is blank. What did they give me. Is it metformin 500 Er or a mistake? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I can't find anything in the databases with this marking. Can you please double check and post back? Round blank and on other side 111(large and centered) ## @AI, There is a round white pill with "111" on one side (above a score line) and blank on the back. I found this pill in my living room. It has 255 printed on the right side, and what looks like an upside down 1 on the left side. The back is black. It looks just like Butalb (MIA 106), which I take for headaches, but the imprint is totally different. Any ideas? Thanks. ## Hi Juno, Carvedilol 6.25mg made by Solco Healthcare is the closest match I've seen here. This particular tablet is white and oval shaped with the number 255 on one side and blank on the back. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 43547-255-10. I wish I could be of more help, but as a last resort it may be best to take this tablet into your local pharmacy and/or have its contents analyzed by a lab. I have a massive toothache and was looking through my old prescriptions for something for pain. I found a bottle that the label is faded from being kept on the windowsill and was wondering what the pills were. They are small, white with a fancy V on one side and blank on the other. Any ideas? It's early Saturday morning and I can't get to the dentist until Tuesday and Tylenol isn’t cutting it anymore. ## I'm sorry, but there aren't any prescription pain medications that just have a V on them, they all have additional numbers or letters. If this only has a V then it is only logical to conclude that it's something that's available over the counter and I'm sorry to say that leaves the possible options very wide open as to what it may be. This is a rather large white oval tablet with 13 and 2 on one side and blank on the other, scored down the middle. What is it? I can't find any information. It's depicted as a white oblong shaped pill imprinted with "G | 13" on one side and blank on the other -(but scored down the center on both sides). The only logical thing I can think of is that you may have misinterpreted the G for a 2 depending on the condition of the pill. For reference, this particular tablet is reported to be approximately 19mm in size and is manufactured by a company called Glenmark Generics. Any chance this could be your pill? ## No,...
