Found a pill with an imprint of Gg 296 and am not sure of what it is. I was told it is some kind of Oxycodone or Percocet and I just wasn't sure what it was? It is round and white. ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Loratadine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. It is available over the counter and by prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been prescribed 10mg oxycodone for the passed 2 years, 4x daily and have never had any problem with the ones I usually get (pink). This last rx the pharmacy gave me the RP 10s made by Rhodes Pharm. And I have never had a oxycodone make me so sick, sweating nausea, headache, chills. And to top it off no pain relief what so ever. Is it me or has anybody else had the same experience? I was wondering if the pharmacy could replace them. Any suggestions? ## Hi Carolyn, Sorry to hear about your situation and being stuck with inferior pain medication. From what I've seen in related threads here on MedsChat, many other patients expressed similar feelings surrounding the efficacy and side effects of this Rhode's product. Unfortunately, pharmacies don't typically allow patients ...

My Oxycodone HCL 10mg came in pink pills? Why is that? Most info. say white pills with a different number. Jeff ## There are some 10mg tablets that are pink, the color actually doesn't mean anything. It's the numbers on the tablet that enable you to identify it and confirm what it contains. Some examples of pink 10mg Oxycodone tablets would have the following markings on them: K 56 ETH 461 And there are probably one or two more, but those are just the ones I pulled up with a quick search. This pill has a 333 on it and is oblong and white has nothing on the other side of the first time. ## Hi Eli, The oblong (capsule-shaped) white pill you're describing marked "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this particular tablet is manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Oxycodone Details I hope this helps and wish you a merry christmas! ## White Pill with A333 Oblong that is generic for percocet I think needs to be looked into more closely. These Don t seem to be as effective as others I've been prescribed either in intensity or duration. Next time in given these I'll tell the pharmacy no thanks and go somewhere else ## I'm very sorry about the problem you've experienced. There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient in generic medications, as permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, so this one may be a little lower than the others you were taking. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. round white G161 oxycodone ## My doctor took me off 30mg oxycodone and put me on 10mg oxycodone got them filled at local pharmacy i think there out dated they are generic so i think they are old because there totally not helping my pain. ## I was on 30mg oxycodone now on 10 mg oxycontin G161 are they outdated shelf life anyone know anything about this generics how long thave they quit making them ## I would guess that it has more to do with the drop in your dosage, rather than how old the pills may be. If you were up on 30mgs and your body has gotten used to taking that dosage and you suddenly dropped down to 10mgs, then it is not going to help your pain anywhere near as much as the 30mgs did. Oxycontin has the same ingredient, it is Oxycodone. The difference is that Oxycontin is a 12 h...

My doctor has prescribed me 10 MG oxycodone for last few years due to chronic pain. However, they were always the round pink one's that had HCL on bottle. New one's I got today are white round one's that now say RHO, what's the difference? ## Hi Karen, The round white pill that have R over P on one side and 10 on the other are made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. I haven't found any information on the one's that are imprinted with "RHO", but I get the sense that this could possibly be an abbreviation for Rhodes Pharmaceuticals as well. To be 100% sure, you can contact Rhodes directly at 401-262-9400. If they do turn out to be the same 10mg oxycodone tablet, I would imagine that any differences would probably be found within the list of inactive ingredients, si...

How are the 10mg oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals compared to other brands? ## Hi Shizz, According to NIH, the 10mg oxycodone tablets (that are white, round, & scored, with "R" over "P") made by Rhodes, contain the equivalent of 9 mg of free base oxycodone. Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a5162476-1217-41c0-bc7e-0a0f123f069f So in terms of potency, it apparently doesn't contain what a 10mg Rx label says it does, which is really corrupt marketing in my opinion… Especially towards those who are switching from another brand that may have more or less (unknowingly setting the stage for withdrawal symptoms from tapering). I suppose they think the extra milligram will come in the form of placebo. Next, in terms of inactive ingredient...
