It is Ibuprofen 600 mg. I just got a prescription for it, My wisdom teeth were taken out. They are Pointless if you ask me, They don't help allot with the pain... but they do help with swelling i guess.. ## Well, what you have to understand is that Ibuprofen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is not a narcotic, so while it helps with pain, its effects are limited. This is the same medication that is found in a lower dose, over the counter in Advil and Motrin. Looking to find out what a long/ oval white tabley is with a weird E type symbol and 28 and nothing on the other side. it is not scored. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listings for this in our U.S. prescription drug resources. Where was it found? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I think that is Disulfiram (generic of Antabuse) 250 mg, manufactured and/or distributed by Rising and/or Sigma Pharmaceuticals. The weird E thingy is uppercase Greek letter sigma. In some reference sites it's indexed as "Logo 28" quoting from a product info sheet found on dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?id=46495 "HOW SUPPLIED: Disulfiram Tablets, USP: 250 mg - White, capsule shaped tablets debossed "Σ 28" on one side and plain on the other side. Can u take two 800mg ip466 at once? Serious toothache and one pill isn't working! Will it hurt my child since I'm breast feeding ## Hi Relly, Unfortunately, the maximum amount of Ibuprofen for adults is 800 mgs per dose or 3200 mgs per day (equivalent to 4 maximum doses), depending on each individuals response and tolerance. So you'd essentially only be able to take one of those "IP 466" pills at a time (4x daily). If I could recommend something else that may be more effective for your toothache, it would probably be pure vanilla extract and/or clove essential oil. I've used both before and they helped num any sort of pain I had and also alleviated some discomfort. Both of those options contain powerful antibacterial properties (unlike Ibuprofen) that are really ...

oval white pill with black letters PAR 467 ## The closest match I could locate to Par 467 is Par 867. This is an oval white pill with black letters as well, and otherwise fits your description.
