I found this pill in my living room. It has 255 printed on the right side, and what looks like an upside down 1 on the left side. The back is black. It looks just like Butalb (MIA 106), which I take for headaches, but the imprint is totally different. Any ideas? There are some Carvedilol similar to this, such as with the numbers 242 on them and others in a different dosage with 245, but I'm not finding anything with just a 256. DId they come from your pharmacy?

I was on carvedilol 25 mg and recently my doctor changed my dose to 12.5 mg. Can I split my 25 to take my 12.5? ## Yes, you can split the remaining tablets, as long as they aren't time released and your pharmacist hasn't otherwise said that you shouldn't do so. I was on it for awhile and had to cut mine, all the time. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?
