I take pills from my mom and write down the names of them, how they look the color how many milligrams, and what is stamped on them so I know which one it is. This one I couldn't find the name so I searched it up and found it. I found a half of a white oval pill scored 84 (the left half is missing) In my teenage sons room. I'd like more info befour I ask him about it. There are several possibilities, both among prescription medications and over the counter products. So far, the closest match I've seen is a round white pill imprinted with L434 on one side and scored on the back. [Pseudoephedrine 60mg + Triprolidine 2.5mg]. I've also seen an oblong white pill imprinted with L484 - albeit the 8 could probably be mistaken for a 3 depending on the condition of the pill. This is an oblong (oval), white tablet with the imprint L 484 on it. Somebody told me it is a pain killer but I don't know exactly what kind it is. As of January 2011, a Black Box warning has been added to over the counter products containing Acetaminophen. It was revealed that it has been responsible for almost half of the Acetaminophen related liver failure instances in the U.S. They have concluded that its relationship to it is mainly due to overdose. Pills marked with either an L or a 44 are made by LNK International, they make only over the counter products which are sold by various stores as store brands or generics.

This is a store brand or generic for Extra Strength Tylenol and is available over the counter.
