What does Metformin 1000 mg look like in all forms? ## Metformin is a generic medication, so it is manufactured by several different companies and they will all have different markings to enable their identification, thus there is really no way I could post what all of them look like and the descriptions. Some stamped with 1 47 what's the difference? ## Yes, Teva Pharmaceuticals lists the tablet with 93 7214 on it as containing 100mgs of Metformin, which is most commonly used to help lower blood sugar levels. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Karen, while I have been able to find a 1,000mg tablet with 132 on it, I cannot find any with 147 on it. Are there any other markings on the tablet in question, or possibly a logo?
