140 is a oval shape and white color. Only one side has 140 writting on it ## The only listing I can find is for a white, capsule shaped tablet with the number 140 on it that contains 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. I take 2 tablets in the morning at breakfast and 2 tablets at dinner time. I was advised recently to test my sugar 2 hours after each meal for beakfast, lunch and dinner. They said it should be under 140. I can not get under 141 after breakfast, it is usually around 220. Two hours after lunch it is usually below 140, even though i do not take any tablets at lunch. I have tried taking the tablets 1 hour before i eat breakfast and the results are closer to 140. The only time i show bad results is at breakfast. Can you explain whe i should take the tablets?
