TWO TRIANGLES ## The pill you are describing should be 500 mg Metformin for treating type 2 diabetes. The only other detail which would be helpful is if you can confirm that the other side has "500" printed on it, to indicate the dosage. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?
