White Octagon Pill With Lu One Side

7 Topics Found

Our dog had this pill in his mouth after coming in from a walk. Luckily he did not swallow it. It was white and octagonal shaped with CGV on one side and CD on the other. Any idea what this is? ## Well, his trying to eat it is actually completely understandable, this is a Sentinel tablet for dogs and it's beef flavored. LOL It contains Mibemycin and Lufenuron and it's used to prevent heartworms and fleas. I actually just saw the title to the post, so when I first did the search I though what an odd pill to find....then I clicked and read the rest of the post about your dog having found and was cracking it up, because it suddenly made sense. Is there anything else I can help with?

My last prescription pill was a little white round one. This new prescription bill is octagon white and has g1530 on it. Please advise if this is amlodipine besylate 5mg? ## Yes, this tablet contains 5mgs of Amlodipine, a generic for Norvasc. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness. You can read more on this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## My usual amlodipine is 5 mg, a round white tab marked Z3. At a new pharmacy, the bottle says amlodipine besylate & is octagonal white tab marked LU on one side and H12 on the other. Is it exactly the same medicine? The name is even different - my old bottles never said besylate.

What is a white octagon pill with g on one side? Also, what is a white octagon shaped pill with H12 on one side and LU on the other? Please advise what this pill is and it's purpose? Thank you. ## The tablet with the markings LU H12 is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Amlodipine, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. I am sorry, but I have not found anything for the other pill. Are there any other markings on it?
