It’s supposed to be penicillin. I don’t wanna kill myself. I bought it in Mexico. ## Hello Jay, Unfortunately any medicine that you purchased from mexico that doesn't have an imprint is not going to be identifiable. In the U.S we use the imprints on the medicines to be able to physically identify the pill which allows us to trace them back to their manufacturer which in turn allows us to pull up the information on the specific medication. As a personal rule of thumb I never take any medicine that I'm not able to identify and trace back to the manufacturer. Your pill may contain penicillin, it may simply be a placebo sugar pill or it could theoretically contain morphine. While that's a gross exaggeration it's really not off base, the fact is you simply don...

I found a white oval pill imprint 2127, can't find any info on the web after plenty searches and alot of resources... Please help, I am wondering if this is a pain medication? ## The pill you're describing reportedly contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone Bitartrate + 325mgs of Acetaminophen made by Actavis. The reason why there aren't many listings yet here on the internet is because it's relatively new to the market. I'm not exactly certain about its exact release date, but some of my research suggest that it's only been out since May 2016. Here is the full scoop (along with its National Drug Code of 0591-2172): dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=6da96f18-c056-45c2-a1c8-f86484e69d08 I hope this helps!

Manufacturer: Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals Inc. Alendronate is used in the treatment of prevention of osteoporosis. I know it doesn't sound like a precise match, but perhaps this can at least help to narrow down your search (for you and for anyone else who may be trying to identify this pill). ## The pill you are describing is frequently given out by private slimming clinics as 'Diethylpropion' 75mg extended ...

I just happened to buy a bottle of cheap vitamins. Glucosamine to be exact. It is an oblong pill with no markings or scoring. Hope this helps. ## Hi how big is it? Can you measure it please, Thank you ## Hello Nick, Thank you for sharing the information with the community. Just for your information vitamins and supplements do not have to be marked with an imprint like controlled medications do and thus there are bound to be many brands and types of supplements and vitamins that are white oblong pills with no imprint. In fact I have seen certain brands that use one color and shape for all of their vitamins and I can remember myself thinking, but how do they know if they accidentally switched the pills? Once again, thank you for taking the time out of your day to share this information. #...

My pharmacist changed manufacturers and this is what I was given for my percocet 10/325. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. I'm not sure why the pharmacist would say that this is Percocet, as surely they are mistaken based on the pill description. I would contact them right away if you haven't done so already... Hope this helps!

nothing on back of pill just an E on other side white oblong found it in a bottle with hydrocodone but it looked different from others ## I can't be completely certain, but with just an imprint of an E it is most likely just an over the counter Excedrin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Aspirin details here. Learn more Caffeine details here. That is the way they marked the tablets of their original formulation. It is not a Hydrocodone tablet, there are none with that marking. I found half of a pill ending with 57 and is blank on the other side. It's large white and oblong. ## Knowing only part of the imprint leaves it open to several possibilities. Just to give some examples, there's a 5mg Buspirone tablet that meets this description with the marking 657. There's a generic Vicodin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone with the marking M357. There's a Sulfadiazine tablet with the marking E757. And that is just some of the tablets that are listed that incorporate the 57 into the end of the imprint. Where was it found?
