Difference in the pink oblong5114 and white oblong 5113? propo-n/apap tab 100/650 ## Based on my research I haven't found any differences between these two pills. The possible reason why they are different colors is most likely because they are manufactured/distributed by two companies. The pink pill can come from Qualitest Pharmaceuticals or by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and the white pill is only stated to be by Vintage Pharmaceuticals. This is Acetaminophen 650mgs and Propoxyphene 100mgs, a generic for Darvocet. ## I FOUND THIS PILL IN A BOTTLE OF PILLS FROM THE PHARMACY PRESCRIBED TO ONE OF MY PATIENTS IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS AND WS WONDERING WHAT T IS. ## Well, as I said, a generic for Darvocet, if that is what was in the bottle, then the chance it the pharmacy ran out of one brand, and had to use another to finish filling that prescription. If not, well I guess you had better have a chat with your patient.

Your pill contains Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 5mgs, it is a generic for Vicodin and once again, no Propoxyyphene, that is only available in Darvocet N and its equivelent generics. ## White oblong tabs have been consolidated in one bottle. However, it is a white oval with the markings 5113V on the front, the V is stylized as the companies logo. oblong shape-white pill-number 5113 V imprint on pill. ## My wife has a prescription of Darvecet and has been taking two pills every eight hours and the bottle says take one every four hours. I tried to tell her that it doesn't work that way but I am not sure. Maybe one every two hours? Help! ## That is correct, taking them in that manner doesn't work and one should never adjust the dosing schedule, without their doctor's approval. As to Darvocet, to add some updated information on that to this post, it has now been removed from the market in the U.S., Canada and most other countries, due to the fact that it was found to cause severe risks of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose fatalities.
