Your cycle may change, when taking oral contraceptives, so your period may not last a full 7 days, but that is okay, as long as your doctor doesn't see a reason to be concerned. Some women stop having periods altogether, while taking oral contraceptives, according to NIH reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I started taking oral cone t...

Someone mixed them in with my Ibuprofen. To them they were both pain relievers. To me, I cannot take Acetaminophen. Can I get pregnant if I am on my white iron pills ## As long as you haven't missed any of the active pills, then you are still protected, even on the iron/inactive pills. Learn more oral contraceptive details here. When you're taking oral contraceptives, you don't actually have a true menstrual cycle during the week that you take the inactive pills. What you have is actually just a withdrawal bleed from not having the hormones in the tablets, but your level of protection remains the same. Are there any other questions?

I found a pill in my daughters dresser drawer. Can you tell me what it is? It has the numbers P 243 long white pill. ## This is a store brand tablet to treat PMS, similar to Midol. ## I found the same pill in my daughter's room after a school friend had visited. I was relieved to read it was for PMS and not some kind of pill bought on the street for the kids to abuse. If I skip my white pills and continue taking the yellow ones will I skip my period and still be protected from pregnancy?? ## Yes and unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, it is perfectly safe to do this, once in awhile.
