I have a white oblong pill with a symbol on the back looking almost like a v and scored with a 25 on one side. ## Hi Trish, Any chance that the pill your describing is light pink as opposed to white? Just wondering because I located a pink Elliptical / Oval shaped pill marked with "V 25". It's identified as Diphenhydramine HCL (25 mg), which is mainly used to treat allergies, insomnia, motion sickness, and even used as a sleep aid. Manufacturer: New World Imports, Inc National Drug Code (NDC): 51824-0025 Learn More: Diphenhydramine Details Does this sound like it could be a match to your pill?

This could be a CVS or Walgreen pill, perhaps antacid?? ## The closest match I found has the same imprint, but is round and not elongated as you mentioned. Since no other results come close in the prescription drug databases, I'm thinking you are right in that this is an over-the-counter medication. I would probably consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out, as over-the-counter meds usually don't show up in the prescription drug databases for identification, and aren't required to show up either. Please do post back though if you are able to have it identified there in person, so others here can see what it is. Thanks!

With k34 imprinted on one side and the other side is blank. ## Based on the description provided, I've identified your pill as Acetaminophen 325mg. I'm not certain if there's also another ingredient by the name of Phenylacetone (phenylpropan), but the name happened to be listed alongside Acetaminophen in my research. The tablet's description indicates that it's used for relieving sinus (mucous) congestion, cough and cold symptoms, fever reducer, minor aches and pain, among other uses as well. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen Details I hope this helps!

I was given a white oblong pill with just a 5 on it. I was told it was an opioid. A percocet 10 mg. It's driving me mad that I can't figure this out!! Someone please help. ## Jay, a 5 denotes 5mg, not 10 mg. At least with any pain meds I know. Just saying.

nothing on back of pill just an E on other side white oblong found it in a bottle with hydrocodone but it looked different from others ## I can't be completely certain, but with just an imprint of an E it is most likely just an over the counter Excedrin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Aspirin details here. Learn more Caffeine details here. That is the way they marked the tablets of their original formulation. It is not a Hydrocodone tablet, there are none with that marking. Does anyone else have a possibility that it could be? ## I take these myself that is an excedrin i know thats probably not spelled right but it isnt anything more then that.

THE FIRST LETTERT ONE SIDE AND few lower nubers next to. Vocodine, tylenol condein. Thanks ## Are you saying it's a tablet with an L followed by 3 additional numbers? If so, I would need to know what those numbers are to give you an identification, but what I can tell is that if that is what you are talking about, it is not a prescription medication and contains no narcotics of any type. The company that manufactures those tablets only makes over the counter products.

I found some small, oblong white pills and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. They have no prints or scoring on either side, they are totally plain. If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be E because they are not round, and have no prints on them... ## I have some at the moment they are generic for Tylenol. Hope it helps... ## Actually, without a marking, it is very difficult to say what they are with any certainty. There are many over the counter items that meet this description, some are Acetaminophen, but not all. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. It can, however, be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings ...

I found half of a pill ending with 57 and is blank on the other side. It's large white and oblong. ## Knowing only part of the imprint leaves it open to several possibilities. Just to give some examples, there's a 5mg Buspirone tablet that meets this description with the marking 657. There's a generic Vicodin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone with the marking M357. There's a Sulfadiazine tablet with the marking E757. And that is just some of the tablets that are listed that incorporate the 57 into the end of the imprint. Where was it found?

It is white, oblong and has M6 on 1 side and blank on the other ## Hi Andy, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm currently finding is a white "round" pill marked with M6 on one side and blank on the other. This particular tablet is identified as Myambutol (100mg), and is said to be manufactured by a company called Stat Trade Inc. Myambutol (Ethambutol) is a drug indicated for the treatment of tuberculosis. I know you mentioned that your pill was oblong-shaped as opposed to round, but please post back if this sounds like it could be a viable match. I hope this helps!

Help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.ty ## xanax 2mg ## @John, Is there any way you can verify that the pill in question is in fact xanax? Do you have the manufacturer's name or possibly the national drug code? I just want to make sure that the drug has been accurately identified as I could not find any specific details about a xanax bar fitting the description that John C provided. I have a white oblong pill that just has A5 on it. I cant find info on it anywhere. Is it supposed to be oxycodone? ## There are white round Oxycodone (5mg) pills that are marked with A5, but I haven't come across an oblong one yet. For verification, the round ones are manufactured by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2876. You could contact Actavis directly to find out if they switched from round pills to oblong pills... Otherwise, if yours isn't from a licensed pharmacy then I can only assume that it's counterfeit, foreign, or something else altogether. Hope this helps!
