I have 2 different types of pills that are supposed to be exactly the same. One is round, white and has a line across the back of it, and on other side it has in big numbers 54 and under that is the number 543. The other pill is flat, smooth, white, plain on one side and on the other side it has the number 4839 with a line under that and a kind of cursive V. I received the latter one a while ago when I had dental work done and it helped me so much. My general practitioner prescribed the first one for major pelvic and lower back pain and they are supposed to be the exact same thing and I assure you they are not. I cannot pinpoint the difference. Its a little blue pill round has a 48 and a weird symbol above it kinda looks like a E and the other side it has a criss cross like 4 sections found in my kids pants. ## The closest match (I could find) with that similar description is famciclovir, but this drug is usually white. I am reading everywhere that the color should be orangish, and have seen pics online of them being orangish. The ones I have are more off white, but no where near orange. I also read one comment on here saying these are fakes. The V and the 4829 are facing same side up, and the pill looks exactly the same as found online.
