HI, I HAD BEEN OUT OF MY ADDERALL FOR A FEW DAYS AND I GOT SOME NEW PILLS, ONLY I HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE BEFORE. THEY ARE ROUND, WHITE, AND ONLY HAVE THE NUMBERS 737 ON IT, OTHER SIDE IS BLANK...TASTE LIKE IT WHEN I LICKED IT, BUT NOT SHOWING UP ANYWHERE, IT'S 12/30/2014 AND I KNOW THAT THERE IS DIFFERENT GENERIC BRANDS, HELP PLS N TY ## Hello, Sw33tn3ss! Has anyone else tried the white octagon M 20 Adderall pill? Also, why is one pill described as 5 mg and the other 7.5 mg? Are they still the 20 mg the doctor ordered? ## A white eight-sided pill with [M] on one side and "20" on the other reportedly contains 20mgs of Amphetamine / Dextroamphetamine. (NDC 00406-8893). I was recently switched from 10mg ir generic Adderall which was a round blue pill, and am now taking the 20mg ir white generic Adderall pill R 351 and feel that it doesn't give me any effect. It feels like I am not taking anything which is resulting in low energy and motivation as well as a very slim focus. I have been taking the orange 20mg Adderall for almost a year now. I had my old Dr. retire and I got a new one. She kept me on it but as soon as I got my new prescription, the one I got was white R 351 pill. Would like to know what color the beads inside the capsule look like? ## @Nikki, Just curious, why is the color of the beads so important if you're obtaining your Adderall legally with a valid prescription? If you have to question the bead color in order to determine if it's real then I think you should probably throw it away. I don't know about the 25mg bead color, but the 20mg generic amphetamine + detroamphetamine extended release blue capsule from Actavis contains white beads. I've also heard about Adderall capsules containing peach colored beads as well as combinations of orange and white together. If you have one why not open it up to find out?

I have been taking Adderall for many years and I've never noticed a smell or taste. However, my most recent Rx (same generic manufacturer as normal, Mallinckrodt) has a *very* strong smell, like a multi-vitamin, and terribly disgusting taste. I even took it back into the pharmacy to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, she agreed but couldn't figure out why. They are the white, Dextroamp-Amphetamin 15 mg tab. In my regular prescription for Adderall XR, I opened a few of the capsules and found only white beads. (They've always been orange/white.) Also, they were much larger in comparison. Am I getting a placebo? They taste very sweet and had no noticible effects after I took one. I have been taking adderall as an adult for almost a year now. The first 6 months I was on AuroLife's 20mg generic as filled by CVS. Then CVS dropped my insurance carrier, so I changed to WalMart pharmacy. Walmart filled it with the same Aurolife 20mg for one month, then switched me to the pink for a month, then switched me to a white one, then was going to switch me again. After spending several hours at several pharmacies, I have made the following conclusions: 1. Most do not allow you (THE PATIENT), to request a generic of your choosing. You get what you get, so you are at the mercy of their vendor and profit margin in regards to what goes in your body. 2. Most do not, or will not, fill with name brand Adderall. Adderall 20 mg xr (blue capsule) with r3060 on it. This has white beads in it. Is this normal because the orange capsules have orange and white beads in it. ## I can't seem to find a photograph of the pill, but I can confirm that your blue capsule imprinted with "R 3060" is identified as Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine extended release 20 mg. These ones are manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth LLC, so yes, they are real. Manufacturers can also change the look of a pill without any prior notice. So it's difficult to say whether or not these blue ones are commonly prescribed among the other color(s). I recently got my rx for Adderall filled at Walmart . This pill is white with a m on one side and a 20 on the other.
