I found these pills in an unmarked bottle. Are they an antibiotic and if so, for the treatment of what? ## Yes, Belcher Pharmaceuticals lists these capsules as containing 500mgs of Cephalexin, this antibiotic is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, and non-allergic skin rash. NDC code: 62250-0802 It should only be taken, if your doctor has confirmed the presence of an infection, since taking them when they are not actually needed could result in your developing antibiotic resistance, and that may put you in serious danger in the future. Where did you find them?

I was prescribed Librax for severe diarrhea and hiatal hernia. The drugstore gave me two vials - one looked like the ones I had been precribed years ago... The other vial contained capsules (they said they didn't have enough of the other) which were white with the imprint 814 on them. The manufacturer is Acella. Did they make a mistake? I couldn't find them on the typical pill finders on the internet. ## Was this in the U.S.? Have you double checked with the pharmacy? I have searched all of our resources and can't find anything listed for Librax, with that marking. Acella has purchased several other smaller pharmaceutical companies, so there is a chance that this may be something from one of them, that is new to the market and isn't listed, yet. They recently acquired Pa...

Trying to identify a white capsule with N020 written sideways on one end. Is this Vitamin D3 50000 UNITS? ## Hi Mary, I located a white capsule marked with "2 N 020" that's identified as Loperamide (2mg), used for treating diarrhea. This particular pill is made by Teva Pharma. Although I haven't seen an image of either pill yet, I did think that this capsule's description might be a possible suspect. There's also a round white Allopurinol (100mg) pill with a marking of N020 on one side and scored on the other [A product of Northstar Rx LLC.] - I'd be curious to know whether this drug company (Northstar) has or had any other forms of this N020 pill made in past inventories (as a possible explanation to it appearing different)? white capsule with white band with O M on band and 20 on bottom of capsule,,,,colour is slightly off white ## Hi colm, The closest match I've found is Omeprazole (20 mg); It is a white capsule, with what appears to be one or two white bands, and the imprint OME 20 in black letters on both sides. Omeprazole is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and more. Some of the most frequent side effects of Omeprazole (experienced by over 1% of those taking the drug) are headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, trouble awakening and sleep deprivation, although in clinical trials the incidence of these effects with Omeprazole was mostly comparable to that found with placebo. Do you think...

Found this pill in my nephews pocket but cant find it any where online. It. Is a white capsule with "N020" on it and nothing else and it it is not the anti-diarrhea pill ## Allopurinol made by NorthStar Rx bears the same color & imprint "N020", except that their pill is round and not a capsule. However, drug manufacturers have been known to make alterations to their products without any prior notice to the public/patients. For this reason alone, I think it would still be a good idea to contact NorthStar Rx directly, just to ensure that you've covered all angles. NOTE: Allopurinol is used to treat gout and kidney stones. Have you spoke with your nephew yet to help shed any light on the subject? Whether he's telling the truth or not, at least we'd have some...

Contacted by local sheriff to help ID the medication. It is a white capsule with beige stripe on parting seam, was found at a crime scene. ## G651: white capsule, beige band aorund middle, black imprint G651: This may well be Rite Aid brand Natural Psyllium Fiber Laxative Plus Calcium. If so, the only directly lethal effect apparent--according to label-- might be from Choking: Taking this product without adequate amount of liquid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. It can also cause allergic reactions in some, and may interfere with how some other meds work, especially if taken less than 2 hours before or after time of those meds--again according to the label.

I bought all white capsules in mexico pharmacy with word medix on it i want to make sure they are tramadoles ## Hi Tony, Based on my research, Medix is actually the name of a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Mexico, and not necessarily a brand name of Tramadol. However, further investigation suggests that Medix reportedly manufacturers a drug by the name of "Prontofort", which is supposed to be their version of Tramadol hydrochloride. Other reports on the name "Medix" link it back to diet/weight loss pills such as Phentermine. But I believe this is just another drug that Medix manufacturers.
