Does the pill help you get sleepy ## Hello, Mark! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Buspirone, which is used to help treat and prevent anxiety. It can cause some drowsiness as a side effect, but will not actually help treat insomnia. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Xanax always have four pieces. Less then four out the door......buspar ## Hello, Josh! How are you? That is not correct, that does not apply to all Xanax tablets. Some have no score lines. The tablet mentioned in your post bears the full marking of TV 1003 5 5 5 and contains 15mgs of Buspirone, which is an anxiolytic. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and dry mouth. Are there any other questions or concerns?

The rounded-edged bar with "1 1" on one side is most definitely Alprazolam 2mg. However, the white bar with "tv 1003 5 5 5" is most certainly not a Xanax bar. Most of the various other imprints are solid but it's not that hard not to get fooled on account of another med looking like one but not actually being one. All about that imprint! ## Yes, many people do get confused on these, because they are actually used to treat many of the same things. The tablet with the TV 1003 555 on it contains 15mgs of Buspirone, which is an anxiolytic, so it treats anxiety and nervous disorders, as well, but it is not habit forming like a benzodiazepine. I just got burned with Buspar. I was told that I didn't know what they look like and was intimidated. I should have known. I don't take it to feel high. I was dropped by my doctor, and I have a really bad anxiety disorder. The withdrawal is hell. It's my fault. I just got pressured. ## Hello Welshwitchshannon, From what I was able to find the pills you are describing are a Buspirone hydrochloride 15 mg oral tablet (NDC 0093-1003). The NIH states that this medication is used to treat anxiety but despite that it does not mean that Buspar is the same thing as Xanax. Are you trying to say that someone told you that you were prescribed Xanax but given Buspar instead? Is it a xanax and is it 1mg or 2g ## Hi tiny, Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is identified as Buspirone hydrochloride 15 mg. This is a white bar-shaped (rectangular) tablet, imprinted with 5 5 5 on one side of the pill (each number divided by score lines) - while the other side of the pill has "1003" on one half and "TV" on the other half. Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA National Drug Code (NDC): 00093-1003 It looks like it could be a Xanax bar if shown from a distance, so I can see how one might think it actually is. Trying to see if the skinny white pill with tv100 3 on one side and 555 on the other side is an off-brand version of Xanax? ## A thin white bar-shaped tablet imprinted with [TV | |1003] on one side and [5 | 5| 5] on the other is reportedly identified as Buspirone hydrochloride (15 mg); used to treat various anxiety disorders. From what I could gather, Buspirone and Xanax are not chemically related and Buspirone's mechanism of action is different from that of benzodiazepines such as Xanax. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Buspirone Details I hope this helps!

They have a med called buspar that looks exactly like a xanax bar except one side has only 2 score lines as to divide into 3rds. Beware of fake xanax. ## It's not a fake tablet, it's actually just people looking at it and assuming what it is, rather than actually looking it up to check. Buspar is an anxiolytic, so while it does help with anxiety, it must be taken regularly, not on an as needed basis. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. A couple tablets that people have assumed were other medications, but which are actually Buspar is a white, oval tablet with M B3 on one side and 5 5 5 on the other and another that has the marking TV 1003 on one side and 5 5 5 on the other.
