a white pill with green specks on it,, it is oblong with no imprints on it,,,, ## Hello, Deb! How are you? If it has no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since all manufactured prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. That means that it is most likely an over the counter product, of some type, though there is a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. That said, it may be difficult to determine an ID for this tablet, however, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

Theses are pills that are rectangular with the imprint ALP only and 3 scores on both sides. Are they legit? ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? They've been identified as being 2mg Alprazolam tablets from South America, but I actually can't confirm that. Since they aren't approved by the U.S. FDA, they aren't listed in the prescription drug databases that I have access to here. Learn more Alprazolam details here. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is anyone familiar with these tablets? ## What pill is rectangle green with u94 on one side

When this pill is broken in half you see white with brown specks. Please help me identify. ## Hi, Morgan! Where did you find it? Without any markings, it may be difficult to determine what this tablet contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription product, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. The reason I asked where you found it is because some of them are regional, so knowing your general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Hi, I found the tablet on the floor in my bathroom. It's hydroxyzine (Vistaril) which is a antihistamine commonly prescribed as an anxiolytic or to treat allergen symptoms. It it is is hydroxyzine (Vistaril), i've taken it before. its size is a little smaller than a dime. its either light blue or green and is imprited with M 89 on one side. ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Meloxicam (15 mg). NOTE: This pill is stated to be yellow (funny how it's a combination of the two colors you thought it might be) Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, used to relieve the symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever; and as an analgesic. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... What's the difference between a R P 15 white football shaped 15 mg oxy pill and a 15mg green oxy? ## Hi keke, There is no difference in the active ingredient since they all reportedly contain 15mgs of Oxycodone. The only notable differences would be found in the list of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders and fillers) that help make up each tablet's composition. If you would like a list of these inert ingredients for a closer comparison, please post back with the pill imprints for those other two 15mg oxycodone tablets you mentioned. I hope this helps!

White, yellow, and I believe dark green, possibly brown capsule type pill. No markings. It is a solid pill, not one that can be broken open. Half is the green color and the other half is split yellow and white. ## Hi Carolyn, U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified. Odds are that it could either be manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you coul...

Need to know about this pill ## Hello, Jessica! How are you? Is the marking possibly 3594 V? Is the tablet white and oval with green specks? If so, this tablet contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this dosage is no longer being manufactured. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thanks!

I found a bottle of these little dark green gel tabs with "25" written in white on one side in my sister's bathroom. I would really like to know that they are...hoping she's not abusing drugs again... ## I'm not 100% certain, but from the description, I believe this might contain 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, it often comes in gelcaps like this. What is an oblong white pill with no imprints on both sides, just one line across in the width position? A friend gave it to me after I explained that my urine is light green and at the clinic my pap smear results came back as slightly abnormal cells. Is it safe to use this so called flagyl to clean my reproductive system? ## No it is not safe to treat your condition with some unknown unmarked pill, NO.

What is it used for? I forgot. I know I got them from my doctor a while ago, but the bottle broke & I only had about 6 left anyway, so I put them in w/ my other bottle & forgot what they actually are for. I'm thinking it's for a cold? Am I correct? Thanks. ## A white, oval tablet with the marking E on one side and 85 on the other is manufactured by Greenstone Limited, and they list it as containing 500mgs of Penicillin V, it is an antibiotic that is most commonly used to treat, or prevent bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. It will not treat a cold, since colds are caused by viruses. Is there anything else I can help with?

What kind of pill is this? It's like a light forest-green and white capsule with no marking. ## Hi Sue - Hmmm, with no markings it's really hard to say. That's because all prescription drugs in the US are required to carry a unique appearance (color, shape, imprint). It could be anything from an over the counter med, to a supplement, to a drug from overseas. Do you have any other details which could lend a clue? Any packaging? Where did you come across this? Sorry I don't have a more definite answer for you at this point.

white, oblong pill with L 2 imprint and scored in middle on the back. Cannot find anything on various sites ## I don't have sufficient evidence to say for sure, but the pill might be ibuprofen made by Perrigo. It's oblong and white, and the imprint can easily be mistaken for 12 or l2. The tablet is not scored as you say, but it does have a hifen (dash) in-between the "l-2". There's also an antidiarrheal tablet (by the name of Loperamide) that fits your pill description more accurately as far as being an oblong pill that is scored on the back with "L2" on the front. But this pill is very pale green as opposed to white. Any thoughts on either of these being a match? ## avid - thanks for your input. Definitely is a deep score, definitely is a capital L not an I....

I found these pills mixed in with some Librium 10 mg capsules I have. The 10 mg capsules are half mint green, half dark green/black with RCDP and 10 imprinted on them. The capsules in question have a light green half and a white half with no imprint. These pills are from the UK. Looking online I found Librium 25 mg capsules matching these unknown ones I have but all those pictures show clear markings, these pills have no imprint at all. ## Hi Nate, Thanks for the thorough information. My guess is that the imprint wore off over time. There really is no way to identify a pill without an imprint, so if they look exactly like a different variety of the Librium, they could very well be just that. However, I would still consider taking the pills to a chemist and asking for their opinion. Lear...
