Bactrim for Suspected Staph?
About a week and a half ago I came down with a really bad sore throat. Swollen tonsils. White pus on them. Slight, low-grade fever. No coughing. No sinus issues. Some body/joint/muscle aches. Rapid strep (for Type A) came back negative. Mono test was negative. But I was given Z-Pak antibiotic for three days. That helped. Sore throat was almost gone. Then I got hit with a different kind of sore throat. Pain felt different. Then I started getting small "white head" type pimples on my neck and shoulders. I went back to the doctor. Doctor's GUESS was that it's staph. I was in a hot tub about a week ago. So that's why she guessed staph. But no test was actually done to confirm. But rash doesn't itch. It's not painful. I wouldn't even know it was there if I cou... ...

it is pretty big oblong pillit has 1p 119 on the frount and nothing on the back and it is white ## Since Perocet is available as both a generic and a brand name, I can't possibly tell you what all of them look like, because there are far too many on the market. However, the tablet you mentioned with the marking IP 119 contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet, which is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am sorry to inform you but you are mistaken. What Color Is Temazepam 15 Mg
I am prescribed 15mg capsules. I got a refill and the tablets are pink - MFG MYLAN My former rx was white/green MFG GENEVA Are these the same pills? ## Well, it's difficult to confirm what they are, since you didn't provide any markings. There are 15mg Temazepam products manufactured by both companies and it is very common for a pharmacy to switch, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, at the time they had to restock their supply. The 15mg from Mylan should be an orange/pink colored capsule with the markings MYLAN 4010 on each half. Does this match the ones you received? ## Yes it did. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! ...

P-Ephed/Chlor/Scop SR Tablets
the doctor prescribed this to my daughter who has some drug allergies. The tablets are white and oval shaped ## Good Evening, Based on the abbreviations you have listed, and after checking all drugs containing Pseudoephedrine (commonly found in allergy medications) we have to guess that the drug contains the following chemicals: . We hope this helps. Do you happen to know if this prescription came under a certain brand name? Our database currently only lists this in its chemical form, not marketed under any names. For a full list (this is a long one) of all drugs which contain one or more of the same active chemicals visit: Drugs/Chlorpheniramine_Methscopolamine_Pseudoephedrine.asp?ShowAllInChem#Chems. What Does Roxy 10mg Look Like
what does a 10mg roxy look like? ## There is no Roxicodone, which would be the regular release formulation of Oxycodone, in a 10mg tablet. Roxicodone is only available in 5, 15 or 30mg tablets. I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can give you some descriptions and markings. There is a 10mg Oxycontin tablet, that should have the marking of OP on one side and 10 on the other, the other tablets had OC on on side and 10 on the other and they are both white. As to Roxicodone markings, the 5mg is a round, white tablet and one side it has 54 over 582, the 30mg is round, blue and one one side has 54 over 199 and the 15mg is green, round and has 54 over 710 on one side. There are also many generics on the market, so I couldn't possibly list all of the ... ...

I found this pill in my sons room and he said it was a roxycotton I need to know what it is and what it looks like. This was a white pill that had some letters on it. ## The challenge is that Roxicodone (active ingredient Oxycodone) can have many different appearances. This is a potentially dangerous and addicting narcotic, and can be fatal when consumed with alcohol. Please intervene and make sure your son stops with these. Also, in order to properly identify what the pills are (as far as exact dosage and ingredients go), we need to know the exact letters / numbers / markings / shape / color of the pills. There are just so many variations out there. Can you please post back with extra details? Also, if you have any other questions or info to share please feel free to add that to the co... ...

Flupentixol And Melitracen
Gastro has prescribed this medicine , I am suffering from Chronic IBS and anal gastritis and always having upset stomach, I vomit white foam, some times reflux , now my question is that I have heard that this medicine is un safe, even i heard that Indian Govt. thinks to ban it, please tell me what is the real position, should I continue this medicine or not ## By its very nature and as denoted by its name, gastritis is a condition that occurs in the gastric system and is a stomach issue, not anal. Learn more gastritis details here. That said, Melitracen with Flupentixol are antidepressants that are used to treat mental health issues and yes they may cause some stomach irritation. blue fluoxetene NOT the same!
received the new dark turquoise prozac generic about a month ago after years of taking first prozac, and then fluoxetene that was a white capsule with a green and black stripe. the new blue ones do NOT work for me, and the fact that the formulation should be identical is scary! i am much moodier and nervous, AND (after seeing a post below) have some numbness in my neck and scalp that i have never had before! i saw my doc and then called pharmacist and he said i am NOT alone and he is ordering me the white capsules with no additional charge. some things are in my head - this is NOT! ## Yes, I have to agree that it is probably not just in your head. You will probably be relieved to know that there can be differences in generic medications. The U.S. FDA is much more strict about that amoun... ...

A Different look to the pills
I received a different manufacturers pill and it is different. Last time it was a dusty rose pill that was quite small with a point on either end. This new batch is a triangular white pill with 3759 on one side and a 1 on the other. Does this sound correct? ## From our records I was able to locate that your pill 3759-I is Lisinopril 10 mg. A lot of times the manufacturers change their pill forms. Also the change of pills can mean a change in miligrams. Do you have any more questions or concerns? Please post back if you do. ...

Skin Infection Antibiotics
Can smz/tmp tab treat mouth sores ## Hi Linda, This question has an interesting response because Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim can actually cause sores, ulcers, or white spots in the mouth or on the lips, as a rare but possible side effect. If these mouth sores that you're describing are related to an infection, I can confirm that this medication is also used for treatment of both tooth and gum infections; although it does not specify if mouth sores are included in this category of treatment. If I were in your shoes I would consider trying clove essential oil for any dental or mouth related infections or sores. There are also a good number of natural home remedies which you can find online, if these are identified as canker sores. Please post back with any additional information s... ...
