I have blue capsules that say adderall xr 30 mg on them but they have only white beads. Is this generic or brand? And how are these different from the orange 30 mg adderall xr with the white and orange beads? ## @Ricky, When you switch between different manufacturers, the only noticeable thing I'm aware of that actually changes are the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), so that could be one reason why the beads are different colors - different dyes? As to whether or not it's a generic or brand that you have, my research shows that the orange 30mg pill marked with "Adderall XR" is indeed a brand name and not generic. Does anyone know the color of the beads that are instant release in the Shire 30 mg. I am trying to find this out because the long acting beads stay active to long preventing sleep and the Shire Brand is the only decent Adderall. I believe the two colors are white and a orange lookin beige. It would be pain staking to separate them but worth getting the 15 mg IR out of the 30. ## It would actually be much easier and safer to ask your doctor to prescribe the regular release formulation. I recently got an internet prescription fill for Adderall 30mg. It as AD on one side and -30- with a vertical line l splitting the 3 and the 0. The pills are round with beveled edges. All the markings are identical to the 'orange' 30mg that are commonly seen but mine are WHITE. Or they appear white to me. I've read that these AD 30mg pills can occasionally be 'pinkish' from one manufactuer but I don't see the 'pinkish' in mine. Does anyone else have any like these? Need to know the bead color of the 3061 capsule ## @jake, I'm not sure about "R 3061", but "R 3060" contains WHITE beads and is the 20mg extended release version from the same manufacturer (Actavis)... So odds are that the 30mg 3061 capsule may have the same color beads as the dosage below it. The only differentiating factors I'm aware of are the imprints and the capsule color itself. However I've also heard about Adderall capsules containing peach colored beads as well as combinations of orange and white together. If you have one why don't you open it up and check? A friend of mine went to Walgreens this month and got Mallinckrodt generic 30mg XR's. The imprint is M 8956. They look like that garbage CVS generic with a clear bottom. I have to fill my script tomorrow and I plan on asking what they have before I fill it. I am: female, age 30, 'overweight', tobacco smoker, and have been taking 30mg amphetamine salts twice a day for several months. I'm having several weird symptoms. Is it safe to take Ciprofloxacin pills white oblong VP 120 in combination with adder all 30mg tablets? also, the Ciprofloxacin expired in 2008. ## The tablets with this marking aren't listed as being Coprofloxacin. They are listed as being a different type of antibiotic that is sold under the name brand Bactrim, which contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. It does not get dangerous, past the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness, which ups the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I am not finding an interactions listed between it and Adderall, but you should really consult a doctor, or pharmacist to be certain and to get a more recent prescription of an antibiotic, if you need it.
