I have been taking hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-325 TB FOR YEARS FOR CHRONIC PAIN. When I just picked up my most recent prescription the pharmacy substituted Hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-300 TB. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO MEDICATIONS? Are there different side effects, and how might they manage my pain differently? ## From what you've listed, the only difference is the dosage of Acetaminophen that each contains, one contains 325mgs and the the other contains 300mgs of it. How is it working for you? What are the markings on the tablets? The FDA warns the Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

300-30mg acetaminophen code in vs 5-325mg hydrocodone with acetaminophen no story please just need to know which is stronger, thank you! ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? I'm happy to help you with this question. Compared to the opiates that were derived much later, Codeine is very mild. For example, according to the opioid converter provided by Global, it takes 33.33mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to each 5mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, while it may not look like it, if you go by the dosage numbers, Hydrocodone is actually much stronger than Codeine. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is a norco 365 stronger then a vicodin 357 and why ## Based on my research, Norco M365 is "weaker" than Vicodin M357. It's simply a matter of each pill containing a different dosage of Acetaminophen. Norco M365 contains: Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Vicodin M357 contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Is m365 stronger than m360 in vicodin ? ## I had a doctor prescribe the 5-300 Vicodin, and not only did it cost a whole lot more ($68 for 60 when 120 Norco cost $44), but in didn't work as well as the Norco.

I wanted to know if there was a difference between codeine and codone? And which is stronger the white round 2065v4 or the Orange oval 3605v? ## Hello, Murnda! How are you? It's actually Codeine and Hydrocodone, so yes, they are different, though both are narcotics. These tablets are manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list the one with the 2065 on it as containing 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the 3605 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Codeine is a rather weak opiate, so they Hydrocodone is much stronger. Along with being habit forming, their typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

is Norco 10—325 mg stronger than vicodin 7.5-300 mg? My doctor changed my prescription to the Vicodin 7.5-300mg without telling me. Is he trying to get me off the Norco or what? I need my pain pills for my body aches, I have bone cancer on my spine, leg, and hip. ## Hi Sessy, Sorry to hear about your situation. My guess on the stronger medication would probably be the Norco 10/325. I tend to believe the 2.5mg difference in Hydrocodone can provide more pain relief than the 25mg difference in Acetaminophen; but that's just me and I'm not a regular user of the stuff. What are you thoughts on the Vicodin 7.5/300 after taking it? To be honest, I actually didn't know that they still made brand name Vicodin. It's been a while since anyone has mentioned it on here too, so ...

Is there a difference between hydrocodon0 actami nophen 5-300 and oxycodone w/APAP 5/325 ? Is one just stronger than the other or are they different drugs? thank you,. ## Dear Rosie, they both have Tylenol (acetaminophen ) in them. Hydro condone is Vicodin and I believe the oxy condone is a bit stronger. I use 2 b on hydro condone and later they have me oxy condone b cause it would work better . That was years ago 4 me. ## Hello, Rosie! How are you? Cats68 is correct, Oxycodone is slight stronger, so the 5/325 of it would be a bit stronger than the 5/325 with Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
