Is there vicodin 5/325 or is it hyrocodone or oxycodone ## Hello, Ken! How are you? Vicodin is a trade name for Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so they are the same thing. Oxycodone is slightly stronger than Hydrocodone and when coupled with Acetaminophen, it's available in the same doses. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

What is the difference between Oxycodone and Hydrocodone? ## Hi Natalie, Both Oxycodone and Hydrocodone are narcotic pain relievers that are similar in structure; however, the effects of Oxycodone are reported to be much stronger than Hydrocodone. One other thing to consider though, is that everyone reacts/responds differently to each medication despite their potency. So in my opinion it's really important to work closely with your doctor upon determining which drug may be best suited for you and your condition - not just based on strength alone, but also personal preference according to how they affect you. I hope this helps! ...

I AM TAKING HYDROCO/APAP 5-325MG TAB 1 PILL EVERY 6 HRS FOR PAIN I AM IN TEARS. ISN'T THERE A STRONGER PILL FROM DR. ## Yes, there are many stronger pills. You should call your doctor and tell them that your medication is not helping the pain. I hope you get some relief soon. ## Hi Gary, Post #1 is right about there being a lot of other options for pain relief; many of which are stronger than a 5mg dose of hydrocodone + 325mg of acetaminophen. If it were me, I would talk with my doctor about upping the dose of hydrocodone to 7.5mg or 10mg, since that is considered to be the "next step up" in terms of potency. From there it seems like oxycodone, opana, dilaudid, fentanyl, extended release meds, etc, are reserved for more serious or long term cases of chronic pain management..... ...

which is stronger the m367 or m523 ## Hello, Danny! How are you? The tablet with the M523 10/325 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the tablet with the M367 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so the one with the M523 marking is stronger. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. NOW BEFORE I GO TO THE DOCTOR LATER I WANT TO QUESTION HER BOUT BOTH MEDS I AM NOW TAKING HYDROCODONE/ACETAMINOPHEN BUT MY BROTHER IS TAKING CXYCODONE HE SAID IT'S BETTER PLEASE LET ME KNOW ## It really depends on what works for you and only you and your doctor can judge that. Have you had problems with the Hydrocodone? The Oxycodone is stronger, 6.67mgs of it is equal to 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, but if the Hydrocodone works well for you, then there would really be no reason to change your medications. ## had broken my ankel and have 9 pins and a plate was fiven oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tab is that equivalent to hydrocodone/apap 5 mg/500mg tabs ...

m325 vs vicodin 10

Would 3 tablets of m325 be the same as taking one and a half Vicodin 10? ## Hello, Kyle! How are you? Do you mean the white tablet with the marking M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other? If so, it is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. In this case, you have the conversion backwards, because Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Taking 30mgs of it would be equal to taking 45mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, it just takes one of these tablets to equal one a half Vicodin 10/325. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Whats stronger u17 or watson 853 ## Hello, Kiss! How are you? I'm happy to help clear this up for you. The tablet with the U17 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The tablet with the WATSON 853 marking is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Oxycodone is slightly stronger than Hydrocodone, so the one with the U17 marking is the stronger analgesic. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Lorcet Vs Percocet

What is the medication with these markings IP204? ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this combination could be considered a generic for either one, though many doctors refer to Lorcet as being the product that contains 650mgs of the Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic pain reliever, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## My apologies, it's been one of those mornings. Lorcet would actually contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so the tablet you were asking about would be a generic for Percocet, because it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. ## which is considered a stronger medication overall, Lorecet or Norco? I realize that dosages make a diffe... ...

is the watson 820 4.5/0.38/325mg stronger than the watson 843 10mg hydrocodone 325mg?????? ## Hello, I was able to identify the yellow pill with the WATSON 820 imprint as aspirin (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (4.5 mg) + oxycodone terephthalate (0.38 mg). However, I haven't been able to find a match for the other pill you are describing (yellow Watson 843). Are you saying the dosages for the Watson 843 pill are (325 mg) of acetaminophen and (10 mg) of Hydrocodone? I've read that Oxycodone is generally 1.5 times more more potent than Hydrocodone, however it will really depend on the person taking it. From what I've read, some people find Percocets (Oxycodone + Acetaminophen) to be stronger than Vicodin (Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen) - and vice versa- so who's to say ho... ...

10 mg Zohydro ER strength compared to 10 mg narco ?
3 Replies RSS
Has anyone taken 10 mg hydrocodone tabs 1to 3 tabs at once to help with your pain. I want to know what I can expect in the strength of 10 mg er once taken . Is it the same as 1 hydro or much stronger ? I have some breathing issues taking 10 mg OxyContin but not with 15 -30 mg. IR 30 mg oxycodone. ## The FDA considers oxy and hydro to be morphine equivalents, but some feel oxy is stronger. Zohydro is a 12hr er med. Depending on how often you were taking oxy, to replace a 10mg er dose your doc would probably start you at 15mg or 20mg Zo and adjust from there. A problem with taking three ir norco doses at once is that each dose usually has 325mg of acetaminophen. While many docs feel that up to three grams of acetaminophen a day not a problem, it serves to analgesic purpose for real pain a... ...
