Hi I have been on topomax 100 mg. 50 am 50 pm consistently for about one week. The tingling has subsided a bit as well as the tiredness. I have noticed, it may or may not be related, some stomach issues. I'm noticing some diarrhea, what feels like hunger pangs. Sometimes after I eat something it seems to go right through me. Anyone experiencing anything similar? ## It may be causing some GI erosion, or gastritis, both of which can cause such symptoms. Have you consulted your doctor? You should have this checked out, before it gets worse.

Since starting losartan my stomach bloats, aches and burns almost constantly. Also have frequent upset stomach.. Is this a side effect of this med? ## Hello, Pam! How are you feeling? Sorry about the issues that you're having. Yes, these medications can do that to some people that take them. I had it happen with several of them, myself. Learn more Losartan details here. And it isn't likely to stop and could turn into gastritis, if left to continue. Have you consulted your doctor? There are other medications you can try that are known to cause fewer gastric side effects. I've had very good luck with Atacand, which contains Candesartan, so it's very similar to the Losartan. Klor -con20 is killing me. My stomach hurts and I do take with food. Any other suggestions? ## I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. If your doctor approves, you may be able to take it with an additional antacid, that could help protect your stomach more. Are you taking it just before a meal, while eating or after a meal? That can also make a difference, since the latter two can help prevent the stomach irritation, which the FDA lists as its most common side effect.

Its been ten days now and no oxycodne at all.I feel fine not nervious anymore but iam having alot of stomache pain.If i take antacids it seems to help just a little, maybe wishful thinking.Iam so happy to stopped takeing the oxy,it was prescribed by my doctor, i was takeing ten to fifteen mils a day for four years.Hopeing someone can give me some advise. Thanks so much ## How long were you taking it? It can take a month or so for the withdrawal effects to wear off, if you were taking it for a long time? Anytime you stop taking something suddenly, it can upset the balance of your body, since it has to readjust, which could explain your stomach problem. If antacids are helping, it sounds like you're producing too much acid. What type of antacids are you using?

I have been on this medication for three days and I am experiencing the worst stomach pains. Has anyone else ever experience this? ## Stomach cramps is a side effect of this RX but its a less common side effect. I have a few stomach cramps but I find that it goes away if you snack on something before and right after you take it. It works for me when I have cramps. You may want to try it. =) ## Yes, you should definitely try to avoid taking this on an empty stomach, like Kristina suggested. Was just wondering how can I keep from getting sick to my stomach all the time when I take my meds. ## You might try packing your med's in food, eat a little, take pill, eat again, take pill etc.. I take Lisinopril at bedtime, along with couple other med's, and have no problem but I usually eat a little bit with it. You may be taking too many at once, divide them up. Chk with your Dr or Pharm. to get the best advice . Hope this helps. ## I have always had the same problem, and food is definitely the key- taking pain medications+empty stomach = ulcer. I've also found that if I take an Acid Reducer (Zantac, Prevacid, etc.) or at least a Rolaids or two with an energy/granola bar it helps tremendously. ## You can also ask your doctor, they can help by possibly prescribing an antina...

Taken 50mg/day for 2 years with 20mg ameprozol. Last 2 months suffered the faintest tummy ache but it is persistent. Advised to take 40mg Ameprazol by one doctor and to replace with codeine by another. On either paracetamol or codeine after 4 days without diclofenac severe pain and joint stiffness returns. Seems life quality is dependent on Diclofenac so would it be safe to return to using it with the higher ameprozol dose? I've heard of one patient thing 60mg! ## Hello, Guess! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It really depends on what's causing the stomach problem. If if you have gastritis, you'll need to take the Omeprazole for several months, in order for it to heal and you'll need to stay away from spicy foods, alcohol and the Dicl...

My fiance was in a car accident on December 3, 2013. Following the accident, he had extreme back pain, but nothing showed up on an X-Ray. For some reason, that we couldn't really understand, his doctor prescribed him Lyrica (100mg, 3x/day). He has never been on any medication like this -he is 26 years old. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. He was on Lyrica for about a month, before he started developing serious stomach pain. The center of his abdomen would hurt so bad that he would be doubled over in excruciating pain. This was joined with extreme nausea and lightheadedness, along with cold chills. His doctor ordered a CT Scan to look at his gallbladder, and it was normal. Last Wednesday we were in the ER with this pain, and they ordered an X-Ray, as well as a...

I took linzess on a full stomach. How is that going to effect me. Is it going to work ## No, that may prevent it from working, it should be taken at least a half an hour, before eating. Most that take it with food have found it not to be effective. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, bloating and diarrhea. I am taking an antibiotic for stomach bacteria for two weeks and I am still experiencing diarrhea. Is that normal and how long will it take for my bowel movement to get back to normal? ## Antibiotics typically cause diarrhea as a side effect, according to the NIH, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and non-allergic skin rash. It may take a week, or so, for it to go away, once you finish your course of treatment. Has there been any change?

I inserted the Estring and within two hours had diarrhea and cramping, then chills. I kept it in for six more hours but was really feeling sick, so removed it. Literally felt better within the hour. I'd like to try it again but wonder if this would likely be a permanent issue or if this stomach thing will resolve itself as my body gets used to it? ## Those can be side effects of using a hormonal supplement, and it may take about 3 months for them to go away, according to FDA reports. Other side effects can include mood changes, weight changes, and irritability. Have you tried it, again? Are you on any other medications? How old are you?

I am waiting on a call back from my doc but I have had an upset stomach two days in a row. Today it was right at three hours after taking my pill. I don't want to take too many pills ( 4 in two days ) . If it was right at three hours should I even be worried about today? ## Do you mean you vomited after taking your pill, or you just had nausea? If it was just nausea, that wouldn't affect it and there'd be no reason to take an extra pill. Even with vomiting, if it was after several hours, there's a good chance that you already absorbed the medication, since it usually only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start breaking down. What did your doctor tell you to do?

This is a dangerous drug!! If you take heart meds and prescribed this medication, RUN!! I gained 15 lbs in 3 months. I was retaining water. I was swollen from my toes up to my upper thighs. My feet and toes were so swollen that I could not bend my toes downward. My feet were so sore that it was a struggle to walk! My stomach was bloated as this med stops acid from forming in your stomach that can cause GERD etc. What happens is food sits in your stomach and eventually rots and expelled. I felt so hungry and noticed my nails and hair pretty much stopped growing as the food doesn't get digested and sent throughout the body. My entire body was sore as if I suffered from fibro. My fingers, hands, arms and face were swollen. This was not an allergy. I needed home care as I could barely w...

I've been taking many Oxy 80's daily for the past 2 years. I am on 8mg sub film 2x daily. I still experienced precipitated withdrawls and I waited 54 hours before I started with the subs.
