How long does it take for a Ketorola injection to take effect? ## I am not sure of a precise time frame, because it will vary from individual to individual, depending on your body, but if you are receiving it by injection, it should start to work pretty fast. When my doctor gave them to me for headaches, it usually took less than 10 minutes, as compared to a tablet, which can take 10 to 20 minutes. Ketorolac is an NSAID, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and headache. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments?

hi, i have recently started using nustrate about 3 weeks ago but i keep getting these painful period pains everyday but no blood. whats going on? ## Hello, Sonto! How are you? That can happen sometimes, with hormonal contraceptives. It is various levels of hormones in your body that cause cramps, when you experience them during your period. This just might not be the right contraceptive for you to use and you may need to try something else. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor changed my 60mg orange oblong morphine to the 60mg round orange ones. I inject my medication and need to know why the round pill is oily after its broke down to liquid form. Since using these new pills I am having trouble pooping what the hell the government done to my morphine? ## The government didn't do anything. Tablets such as this are not intended to be broken down and injected and trying to do so is dangerous. Tablets contain fillers, especially the time released ones and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled in your waste. If you try to break them down for injection, you are placing these substances directly into your body in a way that it cannot process them out. This creates the risk of your developing bloc...

Im 29 years old. My weight is 50kg, ## I'm not aware of any injections (aside from steroids) that can smaller people gain weight. Someone else in another thread here actually had a similar issue, but recommended trying Periactin (cyproheptadine). Apparently long term use of the drug can stimulate the appetite and may lead to weight gain, which is helpful for underweight people. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Periactin Details Overall, if you are a smaller person who wishes to gain weight, in my honest opinion your best bet is to follow a proper diet and exercise regimen. Even doing that, some people are just naturally small, so your weight may or may not change that significantly. I hope this info helps! ## Hi, my name is Christy. I am 32 yrs. old and have2 kids....

I have had two series of thes shots (Stnvisc) as the medication states, 3 shots a week apart, the first series, were great, a little sore but in a week they felt great, this last time about 6 months later when I had them it was much different, but I relized that when I had the first shots I was more active after them, after suffering a good month and a half I forced myself to start bending the legs, I do this every morning before getting out of bed, and I can use the stairs without going sideways, I couldn't use them the way a person usually does, but after a week of working on doing it right, I can do it and the legs are feeling much better, the only trouble I have with them is getting up off a soft seat. Fortwin contains Pentazocine, which is commonly used to alleviate pain, though the NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects such as dizziness, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and nausea. About 14 yrs ago while pregnant I had to use Lovenox. My doctor then ordered it with an injector pen. I must have thrown the pen away thinking I would not need it again. Since then the pharmacists say there is not such a device for Lovenox now and the have not heard of one in existence.. Has anyone else used an injector pen? If so, how and where did you get it? ## From what I could gather, apparently the auto inj. pen is like having a "pre-filled" syringe. It's described as being a pen-like device that keeps the needle point shielded before administering the dose. I've seen similar products go by the name of "autoject 2"...and if you google "auto inj.", there are also a number of sites who offer what I would imagine to be comparable alternatives to what y...

Hi I was a week late with my lanreotide injection last month do I take this months on the date I should normally take it or do I take it a week late to make it the 4 weeks cycle? Many thanks Barbara ## Hi Barbara, From what I could gather, Lanreotide is usually given every 4 weeks for 3 months at a time. However, the prescribing packet for this drug notes that you should "contact your doctor for instructions if you miss an appointment for your lanreotide injection." So at this point it is now in your doctor's power to decided whether or not he should alter your dose of Somatuline Depot or the length of time in-between injections, based on his judgement towards your response to therapy. Have you not already discussed this with your doctor?

Is Drotin injection a narcotic drug and what's the use of this drug ## Drotin contains the active ingredient Drotaverine, which is in the class of 'antispasmodics' (and is not a narcotic drug). It has been shown to help with some types of pain and muscle spasms, but the only way to really know if it will help you is by trying it. Although information is limited, you can view more details in the link below: I hope this helps!
