So you're definitely not alone on this matter. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what pharmacy has any given medication in stock, at any given time. From what I could gather, there was a shortage, due to imposed manufacturing limits at the end of the year, so it may just be taking awhile for all pharmacies to get a supply back in to fill prescriptions. Can any of you tell me if you actually are getting your oxy-30 meds.....simply cannot do the pharmacy crawl if they are still all claiming to be out....This is a nightmare.....I feel so badly for every single human being here who has been denied the right to live pain free...I have been out since June 11, 2012 and I can barely walk to the bathroom. To anyone LEGITLY needing OXYCODONE, and have a legitimate prescription should have NO reason to deal with all the BULLS*** going on with FDA regulations. It is not the job of a pharmacist to BE a detective. You should be supplying patients in need of their MED , 100 % of the time in stock!! Knowing that people need this physically addictive medication to coup with pain is no PICNIC. How can you tell somebody its not in stock - come back in a few days.... I was diagnosed 5 years ago with DDS and at first by back pain was minimal. After a year or so it began to get bad enough for me to see the Dr. every 3 months or so for a prescription of Oxycodone and 800mg Ibuprofen. I have since moved and my Dr I have now told me flat out he would not give me "narcotics". Why do Dr's treat us this way. I have medical records showing my valid medical issue. The only tip I can give you, however, is to actually go to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand to ask. Due to the high risk of theft, most of them will just tell anyone that calls that they do not carry controlled substances. I'm on oxycodone and ativan, but the ativan doesn't work with my anxiety. I had back surgery and I had cement put in. I broke 3 vertebrates. Is it safe to ask my doctor to put me on the valium with the oxycodone? When I was in the hospital that's what they were giving me. Even when I left, the valium seemed to help more with relaxing my back and dealing with panic disorder and my anxiety. I get 10 mg. Endocodil in Mexico made by BioGenTec. I got my prescription last week, and drove 200 miles, and can't fill the roxycodone 30's 150. Ive gone to Walgreens for about a year, with no problems. My mom recently passed for what the coroner said was mixed drug toxcitity. Her Oxycodone level was 3.4mg/L they said it should have been between 0.02 and 0.1. It is possible that my mom could have deliberately OD as she was in a lot of pain and depressed. However, I have heard about build up of oxycodone in the system over a period of time. With older bodies they aren’t able to metabolize the morphine? I’m trying to find some answers and would appreciate any insight.
