I have been there I know what you mean. But I ask my doctor if he could take me off of that and give me Tramadole 50mg and with Tramadole you wont have the side effects from the pain killers it will take all of that away. Hope I was able to help you ## Hi Melvin, I'm not sure who you might've been responding to since this is a relatively new discussion thread with no other posts…but it's imperative that you don't give out false information pertaining to the side effects of Tramadol. All prescription medications have the potential to cause side effects in some users. And while not everyone experiences these side effects, you can't necessarily rule out those who do (especially those facing addiction or dependance issues). Linked below is a list of possible side e...

is Tramadol contains any opiates ? ## Tramadol is narcotic! Some have different views on it but it is 100% narcotic with opiate traits. This medicine should be used with lots of caution, the doctors make it out like its non-addictive, but it is truly addictive as any other narcotic. But there are some good things that come from tramadol, and just as this year they are now finding it naturally produced in relatively high concentrations in the roots of the African Pin Cushion Tree. Just know it can be abuse very easy! Thanks ## Hello, Hokaz! How are you? Justin is correct, thank you Justin! Tramadol is classified as an opioid analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming. When creating it, researchers tried to take an opiate and remove the addictive potential to prevent abuse, bu...

Insomnia don't seen addictive ## Tramadol is an analgesic that's derived from an opiate, so it can be addicting. It isn't used, however, to treat insomnia. Side effects can also include nausea, dizziness, headache and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Taking 200mg Tramadol 3 x's in a 15 hr day with 0 side effects. Started taking 30mg Elavil in pm, makes me very drowsy. My Tramadol also changed from white tablets to yellow/green capsule. My heart has started to feel weird, with some pain (scary). Blood pressure still good. What's going on ? Cld my medications be damaging my health? My pain from injury prevents sitting or standing YET i was Denied Disability. Tramadol has allowed me to continue working. ## Yes, they could be damaging your health, that is always a risk associated with any medication. Ive been taking tramadol for aprox 8yrs nonstop other than a 7week break. Ive back problems and my knees are broken down do to years of rough wear and tear on top of many injuries. Ive no health insurance either. Truth b told,i cannot function very well at all without taking the tramadol. So i am checking to see of anyone has any insight or suggestions as to where i may b able to purchase tramadol after the 18th of august which is when tramadol becomes a controlled substance. Im aware that ordering overseas is risky but going without the meds is not an option. I am very worried about the change in classification. I never expected anything like this to happen, had i known and not been ignorant to the possibility of not being able to order tramadol online i would have done something diffe...

Since tramadol is becoming controlled in August, what are my options? I've always gotten my prescription filled from web-based pharmacies due to not having insurance. please help!!! ## Tramadol is no longer able to be obtained online without a Rx in the USA. Other countries may offer their version of it but I'd be careful with that. Tramadol itself is a very inexpensive medication... if your Dr. writes you a Rx for it you'll find that is very inexpensive. ## Let me know if you find out anywhere else to order this. I dread running out of my tramadol...ohhhh mmyyyy ## If you really need it as bad as you say you do, I honestly think your best bet would be to go the legitimate route and see a good doctor who can prescribe this for you on a monthly basis. You can always save mone...

I mostly read stories of people having problems about drugs. Side effects, unavailability, cost, etc. I have chronic pain from longstanding injuries in Vietnam that create more pain as I am in my 70th year. I have taken most anti inflammatory meds, opioids, electrical stimulation, etc. over the last 5 decades. Tramadol is the only medicine that relieves enough pain while allowing me to function during the day. I have taken Tramadol exclusively for at least 5 years. The best benefit, aside from pain relief, is non-escalating doses. I began taking 50 mg 3 times a day. Today I take 100 mg 3 times a day, which has been my dose for the last 2 years. Previous drugs, with oxycodone or hydrocodone inevitably required higher daily intake resulting in decreased effectiveness and constipation, irr...

I have had my C-6 and 7 fused years ago and had pain releif from that. My symptom prior to rupture was dull pain in left scapula. After rupture, immense pain in scapula, left arm and numb index finger and thumb in left hand. After surgery, pain in back was gone and still had tingling and occasionally tip of left index finger went numb. Within this last year, my pain in scapula has returned and MRI shows moderate bulge in C-5 now. The pain was managed w 1 350mg Vicodin that I took when I got home from work at the end of day and naproxen while at work. I have been released by neurosurgeon to my primary. I have since been to neurologist for nerve conduction study to find that no nerve currently being pinched. They did however, discover that I have permanent nerve damage. I asked Dr. if I c...

u definitely took way too much ## Hello, Jamesy! How are you? What this meant as a response to some other post? If so, you can use the reply box directly under that post to ensure the person sees your response. They won't receive an alert, if you make a new post on the topic. As to the Tramadol, no one should exceed the dosage prescribed by their doctor. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything I can help with?

What are the chemical make ups of Norco's vs the chemical make up of Tramadol. I know that Norco has Hydrocodone and Tylenol but do not know what the make up of Tramadol is ## Hello, Rotom! How are you? Tramadol is the active ingredient, that's the name of the drug itself. The FDA classifies both of these medications as being narcotic analgesics, which means they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes. With the new laws my health care provider is giving me a drug panel to make sure I am only taking the Norco as prescribed and nothing else. I was concerned because I had recently taken some Tramadol that I had from a while back and thought it m...

I have been taking tramadol for about 8 years now. About 5 a day (50) mgs. Does anyone know if the withdrawals from tramadol would be better if I started taking paxil instead. I have never had a problem ordering tramadol online until now but I do have a Rx of paxil. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ## Since you've been taking Tramadol for 8 years, your body has probably become largely dependent on it; so unless you've tapered off to some degree, it's very "likely" that physical withdrawal symptoms will occur. Protecting your emotions, feelings, & mental fortitude with antidepressants sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure if it will prevent certain physical symptoms (including pain) or any other reactions from occurring unless they are...

Has anyone been sent Ol-Trams from India? I was getting the AN 626 trams for almost two years and all of the sudden my source sends me this crap from India and actually charged me more... I would of never paid if I knew I was getting this crap. It's from a manufacturer called HAB pharmaceuticals. I know there is a Tramadol shortage and suppliers are going this route now because how easy it is for them to get them overseas. I always loved the good old fashion AN 626's but this crap upset my stomach after one and made me feel nauseous. Looks like this person just lost a loyal customer. Beware of anything that is not sent from Pa.. Check the tracking status before you pick it up or it is delivered. If it's shipped out of any other state besides Pa then it's most likely from...

Does tramadol have an imprint NO24 on it ## Hi Boots, how are you? Based on my research, "N024" does in fact represent the markings of a white, oblong-shaped 50mg Tramadol hydrochloride tablet, used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification purposes, nih.gov also notes that this particular tablet is manufactured by Northstar Rx and carries a National Drug Code of 16714-0111. I hope this helps answer your question!
