10/325 generic percocet which is the best manufacturer for chronic pain ## Hi Em, Unfortunately because every brand/generic effects each person differently, the only honest way to go about finding out what works best, is to try out different manufacturers for yourself. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. What I can tell you though from reading a lot of posts on this site, is that Actavis (Formerly known as Watson) has been receiving a massive amount of complaints lately regarding the quality and efficacy of their generic Percocet tablets. So that's probably one company you'd want to steer clear from based on their recent track record. I hope this helps! ## I am a 53 year old grandmother, full-time student earning my bachelors in psychology counseling, then on...

Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. S*** what happen to DuPont they too big to keep customers happy? I had enough. I'm going to ask my doctor to give me morphine. Or back on methadone. Even though they are hard to get off of. That makes five different types of Percocet 10 I had. Watson is the only way. I just do not understand. I guess I have to look overseas. Usa meds suck ## @James, You know big pharma is really making things difficult for pain patients, especially when pharmacies keep switching between different manufacturers to try and save a few bucks out of the hundreds of millions they make in profit every year. If you're able to it sounds...

For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. Again, agreed but shortly after taking them I started to notices slight shortness of breath, fast heat beat, extreme dizziness, fall asleep within 30 minutes after taking them, less energy and still having pain. I never felt this way when on Watson and if they are saying it's the same company why am I having theses symptoms? I always take 6 a day, but with thes...

Trying to verify a round shaped pill that I believe is Percocet 10mg. It is white with WATSON 032. ## I think it is actually round and white with 932 on one side and plain on the other. ## I fell at work and hurt my back and was given this prescription. It says watson 932 one one side and other blank. Just want to make sure that it is a pain pill. ## Is the marking possibly WATSON 932? If so, Watson list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. The Watsons 10 -325 are manufactured in the U.S.A. but I am not sure where the A333 are made or if they are equivalent to the Watsons. If you can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael ## Hello, Michael! How are you? What country they are made in actually doesn't matter, if they are approved and available here in the U.S. they must meet the same quality and efficacy guidelines as the other generics and yes, these are equivalent. Is there anything else I can help with? ## hello my name is d, question are you a legal doctor and where do you get your medical resourses thanks for your time d. ## Hi again...

Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! Amneal does not act the same way on my body, and I should not have to take more for same result! I think when you pay cash for your medications, and have been on the medication for 8 years, using the same pharmacy, they should o...

Need to Know color and shape ## Hello, Theresa! How are you? Watson actually lists this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Lortab or Norco. It should be a yellow, oval tablet, though they are now removing the dyes from their products, so I think most that are currently available are white. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Anyone had stomach / intestinal effects from this particular form? I've been switched from Watson 932 10/325 because of drug store supply. ## Hi Michael, According to the Oxycodone Drug Details page, this medication can cause GI related side effects such as: diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, vomiting, urine retention, and loss of appetite. I don't know which of these symptoms you may be experiencing, but I believe they can be relatively common amongst other possible side effects. It could also be due to having a different set of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders/fillers). If you have a known allergy to things like corn starch (a gluten derivative) or propylene glycol (which is also used in motor oil for your car), then this might be worth looking into. I hav...

My prescription called for 10/325 and I have for the pass 15 years been taking Watson 932. Now I have a yellow tablet by Alvogen, Inc. with a strength 325/10. Is there a difference? It doesnt have APAP in the description. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! I understand your confusion, but it is the same medication. The new one you've received has just been manufactured by a different company. The 325 still designates the APAP in it, which is just medical speak for Acetaminophen and the 10 stands for the amount of Oxycodone, this is a generic for Percocet. Learn more Percocet details here. I used to take Watson percocet 10/325, until it was bought over by Activis. I have since been on Malinkridot (sp); which is not as effective, but ok. Now all of a sudden Ive been told that the only generic they will use/order is by Rhodes.... I cannot find any information on that brand, or why the change. i assume it is because of cost, but any information would be much appreciated. I am very sensitive to dyes, and gluten, and certain fillers. I would like to know who owns the Rhodes brand, and if Malinkridot is still being made? Also, how they compare as far as effectiveness. Thank you. ## Hello, Sestra! How are you? The Rhodes brand is own by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and it is normal for a pharmacy to change which generic they stock, depending on who was offering the cheapest price at t...

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. All the time I wish my pain would go away because it’s very hard to take these pain pills, adding the stigma wow!! I have no other option. Surgeons will not operate they say the odds of making my whole back worse is to high, therapy done it many times doesn’t work. It’s been over 10 years I’ve suffered with what feels like half of a back and life. I can’t do much at all. A number of years ago I tried racing my little daughter my left leg is so weak on my th...

Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the R...

It doesn"t have apap in the decription. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! Sorry about the confusion. No, there is no difference in the medication, Alvogen is just another manufacturer of generic medications. However, the 325 that's listed still means 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the 10mgs is the amount of Oxycodone that's in it. Learn more Percocet details here. I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

I recently re-filled my pain management prescripton for "Percocet 10/325MG and they look totaly different from my usual "Name Brand Percoset's" Why do they look different and what should they look like? ## The name brand Percocet in that dosage is an oblong, yellow tablet with the word Percocet on one side and 10-325 on the other. As to why yours look different, it is highly possible that you received a generic this time. There are many of them on the market and how they look and what the markings are will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some of the imprints and descriptions include: WATSON 932, round, white IP 204, oval, white M532 10/325, oblong, white 106, round, white And this is not a comprehensive list, it's just a couple of examples. is there a 10 mg white percocet number on it P224 out there ## @Jezabel, I actually haven't come across any pills in particular that fit the imprint you provided. Do you happen to have this pill in your possession? I was thinking perhaps one of the numbers got misinterpreted, because the closest match I can find is a large white oblong pill with P225 stamped on it. The "P225" oblong white tablet is listed as Magnesium Salicylate (467.2 mg), an OTC analgesis for back pain relief. Please post back if you think this sounds like a viable match. ## My Percocet is Generic 7.5/ 325 and is a white round pill with Watson 933 on it. ## There is a 30mg perc with 224 on one side and a score/slit on other side. Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. CVS has substituted a Actavis that is supposed to be the same and it isn't. It does not work for me. The number is A333. I ran across these pain pills due to having severe chronic pain and after reading some of these comments i am shocked. I used to take the Watson brand of percocet and could not find another manufacturer that compared to them until i got the Rhodes brand. I would like to see other pharmacies carry them. I cant believe that im reading that ppl think they arent any good. I have one of the worst spinal problems in the world and stay in pain. Im thankful to have found this brand. ## Renee, It has nothing to do with the active ingredient oxycodone. Each generic drug differs in the binders used. Some folks are unable to tolerate these so the adverse effects stem more from that then the response to the oxycodone component ## To add some more information....
