I had severe burning sensation on top of the head since mid November 2015. On 21/11/2015, my physician asked me to take Telsartan 40mg every morning as my BP was 178//100. Even after taking the tablets for one month, the burning in the head continued and on 23/12/2015, I visited a neuro physician who advised a CT scan of the head. The scan was normal but my BP was 180/114 and hence I was asked to meet the physician to bring down the BP immediately. The physician has prescribed Telma 40mg and Amlong, both to be taken twice a day. I am taking both these tablets twice a day since 23/12/2015. I checked the BP onn 4/1/2016 and 10/1/2016 and both times it was 120/80. However: 1. The burning on top of the head has not completely gone and i often feel this burning in the entire head sometimes. ...

I have been prescribed this drug for control of my fluctuating Blood Pressure. Normaly my BP ranges between 80/140 to 90/150. Recently it shot unto 110/170. I am 61 yrs. and have been taking BP control medicine Tenormin 50 - one in the morning and Telma 20 - one in the night. Last week I got my Eco Cardiograme and CT Angeography done. The reports are clear and Normal. Do I need to change the medicine and what is the side effect of Tazloc CT 80 mg. ## If your blood pressure is still going that high, then apparently your current medications aren't controlling it and that's most likely why your doctor has prescribed something new. Have you discussed it with your doctor? It's usually advisable to follow their advice, since they have your best interest and safety in mind. Uncontr...

Hi, I am an Indian, age 78, 5'7" in height and weigh 60 kg. I'm a vegan, I do yoga and light exercise. All parameters pathological test reports normal except that I've been on high blood pressure medicine for over 20yrs. Previously I was taking atenolol 50mg and amlodipine 5mg, whereas my blood pressure was quite controlled. About 4 years back symptoms of Afib developed. Doc prescribed telma CT 40/6.25mg, metoprolol 50 + cilacar 10 and xeralto 20 in the morning and telma 40 in the evening. My BP still ranges around 150/95, no improvement in Afib - which repeats every month or so. Is it not a case of being over-medicated? Can I go back to just taking amlodipine? How do I get rid of Afib? Are there any changes you can suggest? ## It is really hard to say, and it would be b...
