i took 4 oxycodone when wake up can take a subutex without getting sick
U took 4 7.5s perks around midnight will I go into withdraws if i take a 54 411 around 10am ## Dear highboi1989, u must wait until u r in withdrawals b 4 u can take the sub. If not, u could get sick and feel like crap. U should not take both together, either. It could b dangerous. So, remember, wait until u r withdrawing b 4 u take the subs. GOOD LUCK! ## There is nothing in Subutex to counteract other opiates, so someone does not have to be in full withdrawal to take it. Subutex contains only the opiate Buprenorphine. It does not contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does which so why you must be in full withdrawals, before you can take it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth... ...

mixing
I have a friend who is on suboxone .yet she has gone back to mixing it with other drugs..is this dangerous? ## That is very dangerous go on its website it has a list of drugs not to mix it with it is very deadly if their the wrong ones escpecially benzos, like xanax valium et ## Suboxone contains the opiate Buprenorphine and the agonist Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates if you mix them. The problem that occurs, is most people keep taking more and more of the other opiates, since they aren't feeling the effects, so in addition to the danger of interactions from the medications, they are risking an overdose. Most opiates and Benzodiazepines also cause respiratory depression, which can also be highly dangerous if they are abused together, since this will aggravate the side effec... ...

coming off of subs
I have had a number of orthopedic surgeries over the years and I am a recovery opiate addict. I had a doctor prescribe me suboxone for pain. Seemed to work well but it has become increasingly expensive and I feel like I need to come off of it. I have been on it for over 2 years. I have been tapering the dose over a few months and then stopped. I still have had major withdrawl symtoms and it has become very frustrating. I feel like I'm back where I was when I was coming off opiates. Does anyone know how long it could possibly take to accomplish this. I blame some of this on the doctor because all he cared about was the consultation fee. I don't think he cared if I ever came off! Need some guidance. ## i was on subs for 5 yrs. i also have chronic ack pain among other things due to... ...

What's the difference?
Can someone please tell me what the difference between suboxone and subutex is? And , why one doctor would prescribe one over the other? ## Hello, Cats68! How are you? Subutex contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, but Suboxone couples it with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is being treated with it. Thus, that also explains why some doctors prefer one over the other. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dear Verwon, I now understand the difference b tween them. But why would one doctor use one over the other? Can people still feel the effects of opiates on subtext, b cause it doesn... ...

Addiction to opiate pain pills.
What meds are commonly used in outpatient rehab to stop using opiate pain pills. ## The one that is most commonly used is suboxone. It is a wonderful medication that allows you to go off opiates without having to feel the horrendous opiate withdrawals. You must be off opiates at least 24 hours to take it. Having opiates in your system while taking suboxone can make you very sick, I know this from experience. Hope this helps and good luck! ## The other one commonly used is Methadone, but unlike Suboxone, many people treated with it require a lifetime maintenance dose and never become completely drug free. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And as to the Su... ...

methadone and klonopin chat room
I have taken 100mg of methadone around 0600 then I took another 100 mg. About an hour later. Now I have been taking .5 mg of klonopins about four times today...I don't feel high...I'm not nodding out....should I be concerned that I won't wake up? ## Possibly yes I've recently lost two friends that overdosed on benzodiazepines and opiates .be careful.moderation is key ## I'm also on suboxone and klonopin. I take(24) of subs. And (3) of klonopin every day. As long as u take them as prescribed, u don't have 2 worry. But, don't abuse them, because, u can run into trouble. I don't know everything, but I'm a nurse and I can tell u what I do know. Any other ??? Feel free 2 ask. ## I take 70mg methadone daily.. usually around 5am bc that's when I'm up... ...

Has anyone went back and fourth from The boxing to Percocets
Hi I am currently 11 days clean off of Percocet I've been using for over two years now but I've been going back-and-forth from Percocets to suboxone and I'm now on day two off Suboxone how much longer do I have till I feel better? I need help!! ## HI, Nelly! How are you? Why are you going back and forth between them? Suboxone contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the latter of which is actually meant to neutralize other opiates and prevent their abuse, while being treated with it. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are you working with a doctor? If not, I strongly urge you to do so, in order to do this right and avoid future problems. ...

If I Stop Suboxen 14hrs Ago And Take 5mg Oxy Er For Pain From Knee Surgery Will They Work
if i stop taken suboxen 14hrs ago can i take 5mgs. oxy. imediate release now and will i get and feel the affects of the oxy? i recently had knee surgery and the pain is getting to me today. ## I REALLY NEEDA ANSWER TO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HELP HHELP HELP ## It is very doubtful, it's usually recommended that someone be off of the Suboxone for at least 24 hours, before taking another narcotic. This is due to the Naloxone in the Suboxone, which helps neutralize other opiates to prevent their abuse, while someone is under treatment with the Suboxone. Oxycodone is also a narcotic, so it may cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

roxycodone 30mg
roxycodone 30mg tablets ## ive been on roxy for a very long time i am trying to get off of them where do i start? ## try a pill doctors can prescibe you called suboxone 8 mg, it cures the dope sickness and block opiates to your brain receptors. It works amazingly well, try just half of a 8 mg at a time. It will not make you feel high, just make you feel normal and able to continue with your normal life. Good luck ## You can only use Suboxone if you have a severe addiction problem and have been abusing drugs, it is not for use by those who have been taking medication at a normal prescribed dosage. You should consult your doctor and they can help you decide the best way to taper off your medication. ## BE CAREFULL THOUGH YOU CAN GET ADDICTED TO SUBOXON JUST AS EASILY IF YOU MISUSE IT LIKE... ...

methadone
what if your on methadone can you still take suboxon? ## NO! They are both very strong narcotics, it is not safe to take both. In addition, Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates. This is done to prevent people from still trying to get high off of other narcotics while they are under Suboxone treatment. ## Also it will put you into IMMEDIATE withdrawals...so DO NOT DO IT!!!! ## So true I went into acute withdrawals. I did not feel human. I thought I could go get high and get rid of the feeling, so wrong. I t made it even worse. I am terrified of suboxen now. Don't take it too early! ## NO THAYS WHAT SOB.IS FOR GETTING OFF OG METHAFONE ## Yeah I think you'd be crazy to try. ## First hand info here, do NOT take Sub. with methadone in your system, you have... ...

help!!!
i took the saboxon to fast. i'm not sure what to do. i'm very sick(worse then normal) do i take more or am i stuck like this the whole 4 days? what do i do? please help asap ## Hi, I am not really understanding your post, do you mean you started suboxone before you should have for the first time if so that would have bought you back into major withdrawal. I am not sure what you mean by saying to wait for four days. The best thing to do is call your doc. I hope you are feeling better soon. ## hey i did the same thing. if u take them before u start withdrawing from the opiates it will send u into immediate withdrawl. u dont have to wait to take it again, the naloxone in it have already wiped out the opiates in ur system ## Yes, in a case like this, please do not post on a free web... ...

suboxone
my husband has been on this drug for over a weak to kick o.c.s and feels like hes still in withdraw hes very weak and says he would be alright if he snorted an o.c. so is there another med. besides this drug and methadone? ## laura i have been on sub for 3 yrs. it is a miracle drug. how much was your husband abusing and what is his daily sub intake? ## Maybe he needs a higher dose. Also, if he's taking any other opiates, it will react with the suboxen and he will go into withdrawal. ## He may need a higher dose. I started on 8mg twice a day. Make sure he lets the whole thing dissolve under his tongue. There are some meds that will have a bad reaction with this drug. I take a narcotic for migraines and I can't take it with Suboxone. I know that I shouldn't use it at all but i... ...

suboxone withdrawal
i was taking suboxone for 6 months and recently i just stopped taking this med and rec terrible flu like systoms with terrible pains in my legs and thighs,,,i must preface that i do have a back disorder {spinal stenosis} but i feel since i stopped suboxone i am in more pain then ever before.... please advise ## It's probably too late now but what you were experiencing is withdrawl from suboxone. It has the same type of withdrawal that other opiates do, it just isn't quite as bad I've heard. Anyway, hope you got through it! Take care! ## What would be the best way to detox off Heroin, without going to an in patient setting, or replacing with Suboxone, or methadone. I'm tired of the usual treatment for addict by replacing another drug + keeping me on a back shelf with no s... ...

Suboxone To Heroin And Back
my boyfriend has been smoking heroin for the past 6 months and just got suboxone to stop the heroin. He waited 12 hours until he was into withdrawals and took 8 mgs of suboxone he was still not feeling well so he broke down and took 1 hit of heroin 30 min later. Is it ok for him to take more suboxone now 45 min after his 1 hit? ## He really needs professional assistance with his problem. Has he considered consulting a doctor? Suboxone contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone, this combines a narcotic, with another medication that helps neutralize other opiates, to prevent their abuse, while under treatment with it. Proper use of Suboxone entails a careful calibration of the dosage, to prevent the severe withdrawal symptoms from stopping the abused drug of choice. Howev... ...

how long does suboxone stay in system
How long before suboxone wears off? I have been on a maintenance dose for 2 months. 16mg a day. My last does was thursday of 12mg and today is monday still can't feel the opiates I have been taking since then????? how long before this stuff wears off?? ## After that many days, it is definitely out of your system. The problem is more than likely due to the fact that you've gone from taking a very strong opiate to much milder ones now, so they aren't having any effect. Why did you stop taking it? ## I stopped the Suboxone because I was very stupid!! I had the urge to get high...after 6 days of eating about 60 oxocodone 5mg. and 10mg. I stopped!! I didn't get high at all!! it just made me want to kill myself!! The only thing that I got out of all that was all the uglyness b... ...

subuxone day 2
I have been on Sub for about 36hrs now. I am taking 24mg/day. I feel awful. I waited about 24hrs before starting the sub after my last dose of heroin. I did a small amount of oxy 12hrs before. I thought I was following the rules. Any insight? How much longer will I feel bad. I haven't done any opiates since starting the Sub. Thanks. ## I felt really groggy when I first started taking suboxone. I felt like I could just fall asleep and buzzed. Those side effects do go away- but I noticed when I didn't take my full dosage it helped- ALOT! Maybe take a little less and see how you feel. Yes, no withdrawls but your body has to get used to it. ## And yes, you are right, sometimes the dosages do need to be adjusted. Usually, they start you off with what they consider a mid-range dose, t... ...

Is 3 Days Of Suboxone Enough
Yes 3 days of suboxone should be enough to get you thru the first 3 days of no opiates but you don't need much of the suboxone at all. Get 1 2.mg strip. Take a quarter of that strip the first day - so thats .5 mg take .25 day 2 and .25 day 3 and then your done. Thats all the suboxone you need to get off 30 mg of perks. Also start taking B50 and L Tyrosine and Gaba 750 and and maybe some testosterone for energy and thats it. If you want to be off the perks and don't want to be addicted to suboxone use minimal amounts for 3 days and thats it. 1 mg total over 3 days is enough. Doctors put patients on way too much and get them addicted. 3 days on suboxone and get off and you will feel funny for the next 3 or 4 days but nothing like real withdrawel symptoms. You will have outsmarted ... ...
