medicaid louisiana doctors that are suboxone licensed
I had been on Suboxone for almost 8 years . In my opinion it is a wonder drug compaired to all the opiates that the pain clinics are all too willling to prescribe .I have been out of my Suboxone for a week & a half . I feel like I am dying . I can not sleep . I have a 5 month old new baby boy. I can hardly pick him up due to the pain that I am in. I hurt all over . i have been so nauseated. My doctor who 's visits were cash bases only , however medicaid would take care of the actual prescription of 60 ,8 mg. At one time I WAS PRESCRIBED 4 , 8 MG SUBS A DAY . i WOULD KILL JUST TO HAVE A QUARTER RIGHT NOW TO FEEL LIKE NORMAL AGAIN . My doctor decided that he no longer wants to deal with any one with medicaid due to the fact that his office does not "LIKE TO HANDLE PRIOR AUTHUO... ...

Need Help with Suboxone Withdrawal. Stopped last Thursday
I was on Suboxone 8mg from the time of my inpatient detox from opiates. I was supervised in a proper taper. Every time I cut back I felt better. After 11 days on 1/8th of a 2mg strip, I stopped the Suboxone. I haven't been able to sleep since. I spin like a top all night. My back was injured Sat. a week ago. Would this be a withdrawal symptom or back issue or both? How long will the withdrawal symptoms last. I'm feeling like a zombie from NO SLEEP. Going to chiropractor, who says I injured S1 disc. So confused and don't want to go back on that awful drug!! ## Hello, Sula! How are you feeling? I'm sorry that you're miserable. It is most likely a withdrawal symptom, it can take several weeks for them to completely wear off. Suboxone does contain a potent narcotic, so s... ...

Detailed Suboxone help! daily routine that WORKS!!! (Edited with mg)
Hey, I know it's long but please read if you want to use subs to kick opiates! Iv been taking about 40-50 norocs a day too, somedays more...I think I killed a bottle of 240 in a freaking weekend! I took orally only but i would chew them sometimes for faster results and iv taking them for a long long time...and yes it scary and horrible. Some days i was fighting sleep so hard because i was scared that i might just stop breathing and not wake up! (Iv read stories about how easy it can happen no matter the tolerance level) i even written a letter once in my phone to my fiancée (who has no idea the degree of my addiction) apologizing if that day came... Subs help A LOT! I have gotten off norcos lots of times! Iv felt the feeling of normal emotions and happiness after... Iv been abl... ...

I feel so all alone in this.
I have been on suboxone for 8 years now. I use 2 b on methadone for almost 5 years. I had a really bad addiction 2 Oxys. When it came down 2 tapering off the methadone, I went from 110 to 24. Couldn't take the withdrawals, so, Dr put me on subs. I also suffer from a lot of pain due 2 bulging discs, spinal stenosis, bi- lateral neuropathy, sciatica , etc ... I know that some people stay on methadone 4 life. I feel I'm going 2 b on the subs. 4 a long time. I'm afraid of going back on opiates , due 2 my pain and addiction. Is there anyone else out there who has been on subs a long time ? Or, feel the way I do ? Because, I feel so all alone in this situation. ## I have been on subutex for 8 yrs also, i was first prescribed 4, 8mgs a day. That is way way to much for anyone. I onl... ...

i took 4 oxycodone when wake up can take a subutex without getting sick
U took 4 7.5s perks around midnight will I go into withdraws if i take a 54 411 around 10am ## Dear highboi1989, u must wait until u r in withdrawals b 4 u can take the sub. If not, u could get sick and feel like crap. U should not take both together, either. It could b dangerous. So, remember, wait until u r withdrawing b 4 u take the subs. GOOD LUCK! ## There is nothing in Subutex to counteract other opiates, so someone does not have to be in full withdrawal to take it. Subutex contains only the opiate Buprenorphine. It does not contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does which so why you must be in full withdrawals, before you can take it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth... ...

Can You take Methadone and Loricet together
Can you take Loricet and 140 mg. of methadone together? ## What has your doctor suggested? When treating chronic pain, a regular or immediate release medication is often coupled with a regular or controlled release medication, to enable better pain control. In such instances, yes, combinations such as Lorcet and Methadone might be used together, depending on the person, their condition and their tolerance to medications. ## i was on methadone for 4 years and my husband for almost 7 years now but i switched to suboxone about 3 years ago..anyway yes you can take those meds together but the only thing is you wont feel high from it because the methadone has a blocker in it it blocks out the effect from any kind of opiates (pain pills) beleive me when i was on methadone i have tried it all p... ...

mixing
I have a friend who is on suboxone .yet she has gone back to mixing it with other drugs..is this dangerous? ## That is very dangerous go on its website it has a list of drugs not to mix it with it is very deadly if their the wrong ones escpecially benzos, like xanax valium et ## Suboxone contains the opiate Buprenorphine and the agonist Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates if you mix them. The problem that occurs, is most people keep taking more and more of the other opiates, since they aren't feeling the effects, so in addition to the danger of interactions from the medications, they are risking an overdose. Most opiates and Benzodiazepines also cause respiratory depression, which can also be highly dangerous if they are abused together, since this will aggravate the side effec... ...

coming off of subs
I have had a number of orthopedic surgeries over the years and I am a recovery opiate addict. I had a doctor prescribe me suboxone for pain. Seemed to work well but it has become increasingly expensive and I feel like I need to come off of it. I have been on it for over 2 years. I have been tapering the dose over a few months and then stopped. I still have had major withdrawl symtoms and it has become very frustrating. I feel like I'm back where I was when I was coming off opiates. Does anyone know how long it could possibly take to accomplish this. I blame some of this on the doctor because all he cared about was the consultation fee. I don't think he cared if I ever came off! Need some guidance. ## i was on subs for 5 yrs. i also have chronic ack pain among other things due to... ...

What's the difference?
Can someone please tell me what the difference between suboxone and subutex is? And , why one doctor would prescribe one over the other? ## Hello, Cats68! How are you? Subutex contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, but Suboxone couples it with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is being treated with it. Thus, that also explains why some doctors prefer one over the other. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dear Verwon, I now understand the difference b tween them. But why would one doctor use one over the other? Can people still feel the effects of opiates on subtext, b cause it doesn... ...

Addiction to opiate pain pills.
What meds are commonly used in outpatient rehab to stop using opiate pain pills. ## The one that is most commonly used is suboxone. It is a wonderful medication that allows you to go off opiates without having to feel the horrendous opiate withdrawals. You must be off opiates at least 24 hours to take it. Having opiates in your system while taking suboxone can make you very sick, I know this from experience. Hope this helps and good luck! ## The other one commonly used is Methadone, but unlike Suboxone, many people treated with it require a lifetime maintenance dose and never become completely drug free. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And as to the Su... ...

54 411 subutex for H withdrawals
I'm trying to stop using H and I have the 54 411, round, white, subutex pills. Do I have to wait 24 hours from my last usage to take one or can I take it right away? I don't want to get withdrawal symptoms from taking it too soon. But I don't want to wait 24 hours because I start feeling sick much sooner than that. ## Hello, Timetoquit! How are you? This is an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, a generic for Subutex and since this does not contain the Naloxone that is used in Suboxone to neutralize other opiates, you do not have to be in full withdrawal to start this one, it shouldn't throw you into precipitated withdrawals. Thus, you should take it according to your doctor's instructions. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming an... ...

methadone and klonopin chat room
I have taken 100mg of methadone around 0600 then I took another 100 mg. About an hour later. Now I have been taking .5 mg of klonopins about four times today...I don't feel high...I'm not nodding out....should I be concerned that I won't wake up? ## Possibly yes I've recently lost two friends that overdosed on benzodiazepines and opiates .be careful.moderation is key ## I'm also on suboxone and klonopin. I take(24) of subs. And (3) of klonopin every day. As long as u take them as prescribed, u don't have 2 worry. But, don't abuse them, because, u can run into trouble. I don't know everything, but I'm a nurse and I can tell u what I do know. Any other ??? Feel free 2 ask. ## I take 70mg methadone daily.. usually around 5am bc that's when I'm up... ...

Has anyone went back and fourth from The boxing to Percocets
Hi I am currently 11 days clean off of Percocet I've been using for over two years now but I've been going back-and-forth from Percocets to suboxone and I'm now on day two off Suboxone how much longer do I have till I feel better? I need help!! ## HI, Nelly! How are you? Why are you going back and forth between them? Suboxone contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the latter of which is actually meant to neutralize other opiates and prevent their abuse, while being treated with it. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are you working with a doctor? If not, I strongly urge you to do so, in order to do this right and avoid future problems. ...

If I Stop Suboxen 14hrs Ago And Take 5mg Oxy Er For Pain From Knee Surgery Will They Work
if i stop taken suboxen 14hrs ago can i take 5mgs. oxy. imediate release now and will i get and feel the affects of the oxy? i recently had knee surgery and the pain is getting to me today. ## I REALLY NEEDA ANSWER TO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HELP HHELP HELP ## It is very doubtful, it's usually recommended that someone be off of the Suboxone for at least 24 hours, before taking another narcotic. This is due to the Naloxone in the Suboxone, which helps neutralize other opiates to prevent their abuse, while someone is under treatment with the Suboxone. Oxycodone is also a narcotic, so it may cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

roxycodone 30mg
roxycodone 30mg tablets ## ive been on roxy for a very long time i am trying to get off of them where do i start? ## try a pill doctors can prescibe you called suboxone 8 mg, it cures the dope sickness and block opiates to your brain receptors. It works amazingly well, try just half of a 8 mg at a time. It will not make you feel high, just make you feel normal and able to continue with your normal life. Good luck ## You can only use Suboxone if you have a severe addiction problem and have been abusing drugs, it is not for use by those who have been taking medication at a normal prescribed dosage. You should consult your doctor and they can help you decide the best way to taper off your medication. ## BE CAREFULL THOUGH YOU CAN GET ADDICTED TO SUBOXON JUST AS EASILY IF YOU MISUSE IT LIKE... ...

methadone
what if your on methadone can you still take suboxon? ## NO! They are both very strong narcotics, it is not safe to take both. In addition, Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates. This is done to prevent people from still trying to get high off of other narcotics while they are under Suboxone treatment. ## Also it will put you into IMMEDIATE withdrawals...so DO NOT DO IT!!!! ## So true I went into acute withdrawals. I did not feel human. I thought I could go get high and get rid of the feeling, so wrong. I t made it even worse. I am terrified of suboxen now. Don't take it too early! ## NO THAYS WHAT SOB.IS FOR GETTING OFF OG METHAFONE ## Yeah I think you'd be crazy to try. ## First hand info here, do NOT take Sub. with methadone in your system, you have... ...

i took the saboxon to fast. i'm not sure what to do. i'm very sick(worse then normal) do i take more or am i stuck like this the whole 4 days? what do i do? please help asap ## Hi, I am not really understanding your post, do you mean you started suboxone before you should have for the first time if so that would have bought you back into major withdrawal. I am not sure what you mean by saying to wait for four days. The best thing to do is call your doc. I hope you are feeling better soon. ## hey i did the same thing. if u take them before u start withdrawing from the opiates it will send u into immediate withdrawl. u dont have to wait to take it again, the naloxone in it have already wiped out the opiates in ur system ## Yes, in a case like this, please do not post on a free web... ...

suboxone
my husband has been on this drug for over a weak to kick o.c.s and feels like hes still in withdraw hes very weak and says he would be alright if he snorted an o.c. so is there another med. besides this drug and methadone? ## laura i have been on sub for 3 yrs. it is a miracle drug. how much was your husband abusing and what is his daily sub intake? ## Maybe he needs a higher dose. Also, if he's taking any other opiates, it will react with the suboxen and he will go into withdrawal. ## He may need a higher dose. I started on 8mg twice a day. Make sure he lets the whole thing dissolve under his tongue. There are some meds that will have a bad reaction with this drug. I take a narcotic for migraines and I can't take it with Suboxone. I know that I shouldn't use it at all but i... ...
