When Can A Dr Red Flag You

I went to a pain management dr. I ve had hystorectomy and have been on 10mg / 325 norco. I moved back to florida from New Mexico. Having severe back problems urinary incontinence and etc I went to a Pcp. He gave me 5/325 120 count hydrocodone. Yesterday I went to pain management . Told him I was already on this and it wasn't working. He wrote me 90 7.5/325 and said that's what I needed to take. Get to pharmacy and pharmacy voids script per the doctors Orders. I told the truth. ? What's happening here ? Help! ## What isn't making sense to me here is that the doctor would write you the new prescription, then immediately tell the pharmacy not to fill it. Have you confirmed this with the doctor? Or are you just taking the word of the pharmacy? Sometimes pharmacies are guilty...

I get anxiety a lot when I'm at home or at stores when I'm around a lot of people I get frustrated a lot too and I can't consatrate ## It is best when you see your Doctor that you don't ask for a particular color or strength. Let the provider decide what is right for you! ## @ignacio, Eddy is right. Many doctors will see it as a red flag if you go straight into asking them for something as widely abused as xanax. However I don't think it will lessen your chance of getting prescribed xanax if you just describe how your anxiety has been affecting your ability to participate in normal daily activities. I am in the Covington la. northshore of new Orleans. I have unrelenting RA and sciatica because of spinal stenosis. I have been on an antiinflamatory and Norco 5 a day for over a yr. my orthopedic says I have to go to pain management. I don't want shots in my spine. does anyone know of a pain dr. in this area who can treat these conditions with opiates? I was prescribed sulfatrim DS for a minor bladder infection. Today is my second day taking it (fourth dose). I am now experiencing weakness, anxiety, minor headache, some itching of the skin, achy muscles and joints, pounding in chest, and just a general sense of illness. I get xanax 1 mg and take two a day one in morning and one at night. I have been sober off opiates for a year and 10 months, However the Xanax has helped enormously and now the doctor is cutting them by half out of the clear blue and not for the appropriate reasons either, because HE has a red flag on himself now and does not want to get in trouble so is going to vanish to Egypt soon too. I was diagnosed In February this year with a haemorrhaging stomach ulcer. Biopsies showed no H-Pylori and no cancer but some baterial activity. I have no typical ulcer symtoms no pain and no acid reflux. I have been treated with anti-biotics and flagil plus a blood transfusion in February and again in June on account of red blood cell count being below 7. I have also been on Topzole since February and the dose of Topzole has been doubled since June. Since I do not suffer from acid reflux is Topzole the correct drug for me? I,ve started to taper off sub. and plan to be off it in a couple of months. I pay for sub. dr. visits because he doesn,t take my insurance. I do use my insurance at drug store for the filmstrips. I read someplace that if your useing your insurance to pay for the prescription that this will pop up red flags in the future when you need pain medication for a legimate reason. I am on subs. because of oxy abuse. Never had a problem with antibiotics. This one gave me cdif. I am still trying to get rid of cdif after six weeks and two more rounds of flagyl. ## I am not sure what cdif is. Should i be honest with my new dr and tell him i was released from a pain clinic because no opiates were detected in my U/A?
