Its normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and mood swings. I take this drug for nerve pain..it will make you sleepy when you first start taking it, but no, it will not make you feel high. As far as I was told its used in some cases as a treatment for high blood pressure due to portal hypertension. I'm not 100% positive but I think if the person is not able to take other blood pressure meds that would result in extremely low and dangerous side effects and not help the actual issue. I have found that this imprint is actually used by a number of generics but the most common one is Actavis pharmaceuticals. Just wanted to let you know in case you were allergic to a certain inactive ingredient that isn't found in Almus pharma but is found in one of the other generics that use this imprint.
