What Works Better Hydrocodone Or Oxycodone

i take oxycodone 10/325 3x day, oxy 12 extended 2x day, and a few other meds. I hate so many meds. Pain is still in effect some days better , or worse. My question is how harmful are these to my body? Diluadid works better with less to take. honest which is worse? I have been taking Hydrocodone 10/325 for chronic pain, 1 pill every 6 hours. My Dr. just prescribed Oxycodone 5/325 with up to 2 pills every 6 hours. Which is stronger? ## The oxy is stronger but who knows your body may b used 2 the vicoden. But if he is allowing u 2 take 2 @ a time it would b better if he would just give u the percocet 10/325 as it would b as effective with 1/2 the amount of aspirin. To equal 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, you only need 6.67mgs of the Oxycodone, so I'd advise caution when you first take them, you probably shouldn't take 2 of them, until you try one and see how well it works for you. &I have been on hydrocodone 10 /325 : 4 to 5 times a day taken 1 every 6 hours. I've taken it for 6 years. In the beginning it worked great for my breakthrough pain but eventually it stopped being as effective, so my doctor switched me to 10 milligrams of oxycodone hcl 3 times a day Just recently but 10 milligrams did not seem to be enough,So I began taking 20 milligrams in the morning and 20 milligrams in the evening sometimes needing 10 milligrams during the night if I wake up in pain. Going to Pain Management was on opana ER 5mg Didnt like them barely worked...they want to switch me to hydrocodone compound 10/200. How r they? What is the difference in percocet 10/325 and lortab 10/500, I know the amount of tylenol is different, but I've taken both and the lortab seem to work better than the percocet. Is one stronger than the other? ## Lortab contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Oxycodone. So, it might just be that the Hydrocodone works better for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I usually take 5 10/325mg doses of Lortab once daily. How big of a difference would it be to take 5 10/325mg doses of Percocet? Or should I just take 3?

I currently take Watson 387 Vicodin. I'm wondering if porcacet, or Oxycontin, or any other pain medications might help my back pain better, and so i don't build up a tolerance to Vicodin maybe i should rotate every so often. I have a back injury related to a car accident.
