I have been given this medicine 100 Mg tablet three times a day for hydrocele. How it works for hydrocele? I will be operated for hydrocele after 10 days. ## Banocide Forte contains the active ingredient Diethylcarbamazine, which is used to treat certain parasitic infections (i.e. filarial worms). I'm not sure what the relationship is between the indications for this medication and the cause/treatment of Hydroceles, but your doctor may know best why he prescribed it to you in the first place. Perhaps there could've been a potentially serious worm infection that prompted him to prescribe it before your upcoming surgery. You can learn more about this medication on the page for Diethylcarbamazine Details I hope my input helps! ## I am suffering from my right testical pain problem.....

I have had recurrent UTI's since getting married in November last year. I have been treated with different antibiotics several times. Now the doc has put me on nitrofur macro 100 mg for 6 months. Is this usual treatment for recurrent UTI's? Also would I develop resistance to it? ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? I'm sorry about the UTIs that you've been getting. Yes, this is the antibiotic that is typically prescribed in a low dose as a long-term preventative. It works well for many people to prevent them and the rate of developing resistance to it is not very high, however, if you do, there are many other antibiotics that you could take. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there ...

As far as I was told its used in some cases as a treatment for high blood pressure due to portal hypertension. I'm not 100% positive but I think if the person is not able to take other blood pressure meds that would result in extremely low and dangerous side effects and not help the actual issue. I'm no doctor but pretty well informed on this med. ## From what I could gather, a round yellow pill imprinted with m171 is reportedly identified as Nadolol (40 mg). This medication is indicated to treat high blood pressure among other conditions not limited to anxiety, migraine prevention and chest pain. I want to know what is the highest does for person to take ## Hi minime, I'm unsure of the absolute maximum dosage, but I believe the normal adult dosage is 50- 100 (mg) which can be taken up to 4 times a day. You should take this medication by mouth with or without food, just follow whatever instructions your doctor has provided. I'm not sure if you are using the liquid form of this medication, but if so, be sure to carefully measure the dose by using a special measuring device/spoon. Using a household spoon is not recommended because you may not get the correct dose. The dosage is on a case by case basis and is determined by a number of factors including your age, medical condition, and how well you respond to the treatment. I've had parasites for 3 months now and my doc gave me a 5 day supply of Vermox (100 mg). I'm on my 5th day but I still feel the parasites inside and he wont give me anymore meds. My question is, can I take more of this and how long does it take this med to kill all these worms? Should I get another doc to give me more of this med? ## The first thing you have to understand is that many of these medications still continue to work in your body, even after you have finished your dosage of them. Therefore, you need to give it some time for it to have its full effect and see if it kills the parasites. And if he gave you 5 days of it, he actually gave you a longer treatment protocol than is usually given, because it is normally only given for 3 days. Has your doctor run any tests to s...
