I accidentally missed a Lo Loestrin Fe pill on a Friday due to being busy at work. I took a pill the next evening (Saturday) not realizing that I missed a pill. I was intimate that same night with my significant other, but I took the pill beforehand. Sunday evening I take my pill and realize my mistake and took a second pill that was missed. I have been super busy lately and my boyfriend and I on Monday Jan 11,2016 had unprotected intercourse. I missed the time i was supposed to take my pills two days in a row. I just started a new pack for my 5-6 month. I took the first pill i missed three hours after my scheduled time and the second pill six hours from my scheduled time.... Missed several pills had spotting but no period 8 days late ## You need to see your dr. You may or may not be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to see your dr. ## Missing pills may also throw off your cycle, even if you don't get pregnant. I'd suggest trying a medication reminder app, if you have a smart phone, or some other reminder system, if you aren't pregnant, to make sure that you don't miss more pills in the future. I have been taking Sprintec for about 5 years and I have never had this happen until now. On the second Monday of my pack, I completely forgot to take my pill, I discovered this on that Tuesday when I already found out that I was late for Tuesday too. So I took both pills for Monday and Tuesday, both were late. On an unwise decision, I had intercourse on Wednesday afternoon, and on Thursday morning I saw blood on my underwear. I am on Sprintec birth control, and I am always bad with taking my pills, and this month I have tried to given myself my period early and I have not had my period. I have had no intercourse/oral and I had to take a pregnancy test last month and it showed up negative and I had a period last month that was slightly worse then my others. Sunday evening i had unprotected intercourse. I missed taking dronis 30 on sunday night. Sunday was my 20th day of dronis 30. I took it immediately when i remembered monday morning. Should i be taking any 72 hour birth control pill to protect against pregnancy?

I had my period 10 days ago for one and a half days while I was on the second day of the brown pills. The past couple of days my breasts have been really sore. I am taking sprintec for migraine prevention, not birth control. I typically take 3 months of active pills beck taking a week off to have a period. I missed 3 days in a row during my second pack of active pills. I tried to catch up by taking two a day, but it was too late and a full blown period started. So i stopped taking them in the hopes of letting the period run its course. It has been 5 days of (very) heavy bleeding now, with clots. I have stopped the pill for 3 days now. I have been on this birth control first time only because of a pilgrimage. It is also advisable to just start a new pack of pills, you will be protected from pregnancy again after you have taken them continuously for 7 days in a row.
