What To Do For Back Waist Pain

I do suffer from Slip disc since 1991.As age is increasing so the restrictions in movement .Now my waist often gets locked with excruciating pain even in small stooping frontal or side so that even sitting on commode often causes semi lock in waist .Pain mainly on left side in waist ----rt side leg a bit insensitive .I am 69 Male ,suffer from Diabetes type 2,Stent in cardiac artery,strong dementia .I also take Urimax D,Aspirin 150,Clopidogrel 75,Rosuvastatin 20,SitaGliptin 50x2 ## It would actually be a good idea to look at the side effects of your current medications, because it could be one of them making the situation, such as the Rosuvastatin, according to the U.S. FDA. Rather than adding more medications, it might be better to speak to your doctor about switching to a different one...

pain in right portion of my scrutum mildly.now I am 43yrs old.In the age of my 20 yrs I faced the same problem.That time a surgeon advised me to take Tab. Hetragin OD for 35 days; after the course the mild pain went off. but the same one troubled me. I use to drive motor bike about 40 kms regularly. I have severe pain in my upper arm around to my neck up to base of my skull and down my spine around the waist and in both knees. It wakes me up in tears. My neurologist gave me a referral for 2 doctors. I called both who said it would be 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment. I am tired of waking up crying. I am 72 years old. My symptoms are like shingles, but with no rash. It's confined to my waist, breast and back. I have had 3 mri cat scans with no results. Having had more than two major surgeries having had organs removed, staying in hospital for over 16 months on the highest prescribed morphine and able to relish it by taking a larger timed inj. fitted round my waist. Down the line I was given Oxycontin 80mg twice a day only but could ask for Oxynorm 10mg fast relief every 4 hours. Now after years of taking a reduced rate of 2 40mg tabs and 2 20mg tabs a day, I've been told I'll never be able to come off this medication being now 63, but today I've had very severe pain. I been on this drug for a dose of 3 sachet for 2 a day,I having pains on my neck,but when I started taking diclo-neurobion the pain left my neck to my ribs and my waist,my stomach,do I continue the drug or I stop,Jane Nigeria ## question is are you eating properly before taking it? you have to eat properly before intake to prevent developing an ulcer and if you are an ulcer patient dont take it entirely .

I need to take pain meds for server pain I have been diagnoised with ( peripheral neuropathy) due to a m/c accident. I've had 13 operations. my body from the waist down is filled with rods/pins/and plates, this last operation they gave me percocet and i thought i would die.,, (it was on my bracelet i couldn't take it ) . I have had shingles for more than a month. I went to urgent care three times already. All my doctors are on vacation now and they don't have a doctor to see me. I am in excruciating pain. First visit in urgent care they gave me Naproxen 375 mg, Valacyclovir 1 GM and Methocarbamol 500 mg at the same time. Along with Shingles I have cracked ribs too. For 10 days (this was the prescription length) I keep in control with baths with baking soda to calm down the pain and burning feeling. After that I was worse than ever. As i lie in bed wanting to kill myself sweating yet freezing, every joint in my body wanting to come out of my akin, throwing up, insnia, starving yet can't eat all because I've been to over and a kid u not 70 pharmacies in the tri state area. I have been on suboxone for almost two years now and have to pay $150 out of my disability, Medicaid covers the prescription but I was shot and am now partially paralyzed from the waist down n it doesn't really help with the pain, does anyone know if tri county methadone clinic accepts medicaid? I started taking methadone in 2004 and kept on it until sep 2007. during that time I went from 125 pounds to 200 pounds!! After quit taking it I started loosing weight and after 3 months I was down to 150 pounds and two more months I was able to fit into 30" waist jeans again, by 2009 I was wearing 28" waist jeans. I has another car accident and started taking methadone again and it has greatly improved my quality of life! ! With out it I have chronic pain ! The only set back from taking it is I've gained almost all the weight back!! Grrrrr!! I am up to 184# and I have taken steps to combat the weight gain, I cut out all sugar, no Carbs after 12 noon and every time I want to eat I eat a grapefruit because of the full feeling it gives you. I herniated a disc in Feb 2011 that didn't respond to a microdiscectomy, so was going thru intensive PT before deciding whether or not to do a fusion. Well, in early Dec of 2011, I came down with Guillian-Barre Syndrome, a rare syndrome where your immune system attacks your peripheral nervous system. Recovering from GBS can be extremely painful. My case left me temporarily paralyzed from the waist down and I've been I'm the wheelchair for almost 9mos. I have a wonderful therapist and am using my walker more and more each week.
