What are white oblong pills stamped 703? Are they indeed Tylenol w/ 8mg codeine? Please help me to identify these pills. Thanks. ## Hello, Scotty! How are you? Several people have asked about this tablet recently, but so far, I've been unable to find an identification in the FDA or NIH databases. I have looked through pages of identifying marks and images of Tylenol with Codeine and nothing matches. The FDA warns that Codeine carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Does anyone else have any idea what this tablet might contain?

This is an analgesic, derived from an opiate, so even though it works like an anti-inflammatory, it does have the same addictive qualities and is classified by the FDA as a narcotic. It has no opium in it whatsoever. It is a pain killer but is niether a narcotic (it has no illicit drugs) nor is it an anti-inflammatory. It isn't scheduled, and in 48 states, it isn't considered a controlled substance! I found some small, oblong white pills and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. They have no prints or scoring on either side, they are totally plain. If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be x because they are not round, and have no prints on them... ## If there are no imprints, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. It can be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Therefore, it is very likely that it is something available over the counter, but there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else have any ideas?
