My husband got a refill of his oxycodone/apap from the VA that has 4839 over a line and a "v" in script under the line. They usually have 512 on one side and the line on the other side. We are concerned about the difference. He just got his new refill and it is 512 again. So,I had him start taking those until we find out what he has been taking. Help!! ## Hello, Nancy! How are you and your husband? The tablets with the 4839 V marking are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is that the correct dosage?

This pill was in my bottle of metformin from the pharmacists.i only noticed because it was just a bit smaller than the metformin. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Suboxone, more specifically Buprenorphine hcl/Naloxone hcl was never intended for chronic use or maintenance purposes. Here is New York state, as in many states throughout the country, there is a consistent, persistent rise in clients requiring treatment for Suboxone dependency and Suboxone addiction. When used in its intended manner, which is for supervised medical detoxification only Suboxone presents very little risk of inducing drug seeking behavior, and only a mild risk of tolerance and dependency.
