The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've got the white Watson 853's. I also feel less pain relief from them. I also have mild signs of withdrawal moderate head ache, nervousness and shaking. If indeed they were 10/325 they'd at least care of a head ache. Right? Not having the oringinal prescription I can't read the micro print to see if they're a placebo. Doctors do prescribe placebos to see if you're in pain or not. I fact I can could spend hours telling you what kind of games/tricks that doctors will play. I know because I've been treated for chronic pain since 1996. Some doctor are worse than others. But, it always comes down to them not wanting their names appearing on a DEA agents desk. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Norco sux. There’s a filler in it that causes constipation in some ppl inc me. I can’t use it. I prefer the other kind. Good luck

My latest Watson 853s are slightly smaller, the score line a tad thinner & the color isn't as white. It looks like it's not as shiny, maybe less coating, & the color has kind of a bluish tint to the white. I had a few of my old ones to compare them to, otherwise I might not have noticed. I read on other boards that Watson had been bought by Actavis & didn't know if this was their version of the Watsons. I have been taking norco 10/325 and the pills say watson 853 for some reason the last ones I got where a smaller version and looked shiny compared to my older ones that were a little bigger and more dull looking with a chalky film left in the bottle these new ones that are shiny don't have that chalky film to them and the imprint looks a little different as well. It is not something u would really notice without really looking at them or having one to compare it to. Would these be some kind of fake pill or geneic version.
