It's an antibiotic that is available in a 5 day dosing pack, which contains the active ingredient Azithromycin. Since it is an antibiotic, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, I am not aware of anything at this time that's called a V-Pack, nor have I found any record of there ever being one. ANY SIDE EFFECTS ## Nezkil is the brand name of novel antibiotic Linezolid. In pakistan it was introduced first time by Continental Pharmaceuticals in Feb,2007. Initially it was launched as 600mg tablet with MRP of 178.00 per tab, now reduced to Rs.100.00 per tab. Later on 600mg/300ml infusion was introduced in May 2009. Now it is available in comprehensive range with the introduction of 400mg tab with MRP of Rs.70.00 per tab., 200mg/100ml infusion with MRP Rs.275.00 and 100mg/5ml suspension with MRP Rs.300.00 per bottle. I got a prescription from Mexico with 6 capsules in it, sealed, but it says 500 mg on it. How am I supposed to administer these? About a week and a half ago I came down with a really bad sore throat. Swollen tonsils. White pus on them. Slight, low-grade fever. No coughing. No sinus issues. Some body/joint/muscle aches. Rapid strep (for Type A) came back negative. Mono test was negative. But I was given Z-Pak antibiotic for three days. That helped. Sore throat was almost gone. Then I got hit with a different kind of sore throat. Pain felt different. Then I started getting small "white head" type pimples on my neck and shoulders. I went back to the doctor. I started Butrans 10 on 4/30. Had amazing relief. I felt better than I had in years. I caught a cold around April 20th. Went straight to my chest. My Dr thought I had walking pneumonia and started me on a course of steroids and antibiotics. 10 days later, no improvement, chest xray clear but wheezing and heavy with breathing. Dr. gave another round of steroids and antibiotics. This past weekend, I started to feel like a brand new cold came on me. Severe head congestion, terrible cough, the works. I went to urgent care. That Dr. told me it was allergy related. He gave a decadron shot, Z pak, started me on Zyrtec, albuterol inhaler. Today is the first day I have started to feel a little better. Would Augmentin 500b tabs exceed thar EXP dates far if they needed to be taken in a emergancy for a sore tooth, the meds in question are 1 year over and have been stored well and are well pakaged. ## This antibiotic doesn't get dangerous past its expiration, but it does start to lose effectiveness and that creates the risk of it not working as well as it should, which may result in your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. In such cases, it is much safer to see your doctor, so they can cofirm the presence of an infection and prescribe a new antibiotic. Are there any other comments or questions?
