Can xorimax 500mg tabs cause a yeast infection ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Yes, that can be a side effect of most antibiotics, according to the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am a man who takes lyrica. Can I give my wife a yeast infection from my sperm having lyrica in it? ## Hello, Eric! How are you? No, it doesn't work that way, regardless of the medication, she would not be exposed to enough of it via your sperm to cause any issues. Unless you are prescribed a medication that specifically says not to engage in intercourse, while taking it, there is nothing to worry about. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Lyrica as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight gain. Are there any other questions or concerns?

My tounge and gums have cuts on it, I was told it was a yeast infection very very painful ## There are no over the counter medications available to treat oral thrush. Have you consulted your doctor? They'll need to prescribe an antifungal medication, there are both liquids and tablets available that can be used to treat this.

I started taking Minastrin when Loestrin was discontinued. My doctor assured me that it was the best choice because all of the ingredients were the same. I had zero side effects on Loestrin..so I went with it. Now every time I have intercourse with my boyfriend I get a yeast infection. Currently I have a yeast infection/vaginal irritation that WILL NOT go away. (Haven't had intercourse for 6 weeks...and yes, been tested for STIs) I've been prescribed 3 different medications and I've seen 4 different doctors. I've stopped taking Minastrin and will begin LoLoestrin soon. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this on Minastrin? And most important, did the yeast infections every go away!? ## Hello, Lindsay! How are you? Are they certain that it's a yeast infection? ...

Does anyone know what the pink pill is that is for yeast infection and you only have to take one.......I don't know anything more today. ## Diflucan - your doctor will know what it is and you can only get it with a prescription. Here is a web site - www.yeast-infection-remedies.com/candida-diflucan.html ## Though it can't be definitively said without knowing the markings, Diflucan would also have been my best guess, since it is available in a single dose, pink tablet for treating yeast infections. It contained the active ingredient Fluconazole, and is now also available as a generic under this name and some pharmacies even include it on their $4 discounted medications formulary. Are there any questions or comments? There are more Diflucan details available here.

I have been prescribed Rantac 150 for a yeast infection. I have a gland on the side of my viginia which my doctor says is because of the infection but I am reading that Zantac is for stomach problems. Is it helpful to me as well? ## is rantac 150 is advisable to a lady suffering from acidity/gastric problem in pre manopose period i.e at the age of 45 ## Veronica no and Paresh yes. It will not help with a vaginal infection, at all, under any circumstances. It will, however, help with acidity issues, since it contains Ranitidine. Learn more Ranitidine details here. My granddaughter seems to have a yeast infection she is trying to itch it . The pharmacy told me to get Clothrimazole cream USP 1% is this ok ## Hello, Christina! How is your granddaughter doing? At her age, it's very important to take her to her pediatrician for a proper diagnosis and treatment. It's just far to risky to try to diagnose such a young child on your own and then treat it properly. There are chances she could get her hands in that cream and then put them in her mouth, which may be dangerous. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin irritation, redness and dryness. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was taking Jardiance 10 mg at night before bed, it did keep my sugar down. Now I take metformin in the morning and radiance 25 mg before bed. I haven't had a yeast infection in years, and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this kind of reaction? ## Hello, Christy! How are you? What have your blood sugar levels been? Women with diabetes often experience yeast infections, when their sugars are out of control, as reported by the NIH. Thus, it may be more due to having it under better control. Can any other women who are diabetic chime in? ## I've been taking 25mg X11 wk. Yesterday I noticed itching. Sugars around 130 in am, decreasing to 90-100 during the day. Going to try probiotics. I've been prescribed Flucess by a Caribbean physician for a recent yeast infection and it works. In just three days the burning when I pee and irritation and discharge has been minimized by at least 70% with a prescription of 3 capsules that were to be taken every other day. My husband was even treated just to minimize transfer again. Hope this helps. ## I have also been prescribed flucess by a carribean doctor. I am on my second week of treatment. I was prescribed fluconazole for a yeast infection after taking antibiotics. I took the first dose two days ago 150mg. The prescription says to wait 3 days to take the second dose but I am still experiencing the symptoms and want to take it early. ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? For the best results, it is best to follow the prescribing instructions. The medication will not clear it up and alleviate all the symptoms immediately, it will take several days to work. Most prescriptions are just for one tablet, not two. The FDA classifies Fluconazole as an antifungal medication and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Good Day, i am suffering from a yeast infection please advise if any of the following tablets cause yeast infection Atolip Ecotrin Vectoryl plus Glucophage XR SRT Ciplavasc 5mg ## Hello, KC! How are you? If you are diabetic, that could be the reason right there. A sugar imbalance can cause them, because the yeast in your body feeds on it. It is very common for female diabetics to get them regularly. Most doctors just have them keep the medications around to treat them. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have taken one 150mg Fluconazole tablet to treat a yeast infection as a result of taking antibiotics. On the last night of taking my antibiotic I was in so much discomfort that I decided to take a Fluconazole to treat the thrush on the same night. I took my last antibiotic around (7pm and the Fluconazole much later at night before going to bed.) The symptoms have improved slightly within the last three days but I am still experiencing a very watery large amount of white discharge and red/soreness in that area. The Fluconazole I was prescribed had the instructions written by the pharmicist saying "Take one immediately and one in a week if required." It's been 3 days since I have taken it and was wondering whether it would be too early to try and take another as I am finding...

I am 56 yrs old and have been taking Angeliq for 8 yrs for menopause. I'd like to stop taking the pill because I have been cursed with multiple yeast infections this year. If I stop taking Angeliq will the infections subside? Also I have trouble sleeping? Do I need to taper the pills? I'm worried that it will effect my sleep that I need so desperately due to anxiety issues that I have been fighting for years. Anyone have trouble with either one of these issues? ## Hello, Donna! How are you? The most important first step is to have this checked out by your doctor. There is a chance the infections have been due to the Angeliq, but there is also a chance they are unrelated. And a slow taper is best, suddenly stopping it may cause withdrawal effects, which as listed by the FDA, may ...

Was diagnosed with a yeast infection last week. I took a 150mg dose of Diflucan on Thurs. night. It’s been 4 days and the symptoms have improved a little but I still have slight itching and tenderness. Is that a good sign? From what I hear and read, symptoms (itching) are suppose to clear up in 3 days. I also have discharge today. Can it take a week to fully clear on one pill? Should I wait it out another day or two or should I take another dose of Diflucan or the terconazole cream I was prescribed? ## How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? While you should normally see some improvement after 3 to 4 days, it can take 7 to 10 days for a dosage to fully clear up a yeast infection. The FDA warns that it may cause spotting, discharge, nausea, dizziness, and headache. Has y...
