Purple Grape Oval Shaped Tablet With No Imprint
2 Replies RSS
Purple, smells like grape, oval/oblong tablet, no imprints and made of white-pinkish powder ## With no imprint it might be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. However, from that description, my best guess is that it is probably an over the counter medication for children that is orally disintegrating or meant to be chewed. Thus, it is probably a generic or store brand of something like Children's Tylenol, Motrin or something similar. It may also be a low-dose chewable Aspirin product. I always keeps some around and the last bottle I had met this exact description, they were grape flavored and contained 81mg of Aspirin. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## Thanks for trying. I understand that without an imprint it is extremely difficult for this tablet to be identified.... ...

just tring to find out what they are, there white and ovel , v on front 58 38 on back ## Is there a chance the imprint could read V 58 81? This was the closest match I could find being white and oval with a V on the front and 58 | 81 on the back, separated by a score line. If this is your pill I found it to be Spironolactone (50 mg). Spironolactone is used primarily to treat heart failure, ascites in patients with liver disease, low-renin hypertension, hypokalemia and Conn's syndrome. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns about this being your pill, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ...
