My doctor prescribed me Colestipol to help me with my diarrhea after my gallbladder surgery. I would like to know what it is for? ## Colestipol is generic for Colestid. It is used for high cholesterol, but is also used for people who have short term problems with diarrhea. Since it causes constipation in those who use it for lowering their cholesterol it has been used to help those with diarrhea. It is fairly new but seems to work well. Beware as it interacts with a whole list of other medications. ## It helps reduce the volume of stool produced, and how frequently you need to go from the diarrhea. Hi I had gone thru a semen analysis and my total volume is 2 ml and total sperm concentration is 42 millin/ml. active mortile is 60 % and slugish motile is 10 % and non motile is 30 %. my doctor said me it is normal and it would be better if would have 60 % but still no need to worry and Dr. advice me to take OligoCare tablets for two months. I have used 150mg per day for six months, to deal with osteoarthritis in the hip. I moved from Oxycontin to Lyrica, and am satisfied with this decision. My hip replacement is pending within the next month or so. Lyrica is so effective in stopping the pain, I am wondering whether to stay on it, and keep pushing off the operation. The side effects that I have encountered are short term memory loss, decrease in stool volume and constipation. It is even hard to fart...perhaps it effects sphincter muscles in the body. I've been taking viibryd for 3 months in place of Prozac. I've had a problem remembering my dose because of the "take w food" requirement.... sometimes forget to take it w dinner. Two times now while incredibly overtired, and when forgetting my dose, I have had the scariest experience. When falling asleep, the feeling of drowsiness is so strong, yes like paralysis, and then in my mind's eye I start to see "light bulb flashing" and then I hear voices, and worse my typical ringing in my ears can really kick up the volume! I was just wondering if it was the same as volume or if there are other components that make it different and what is the difference between the two. I take it for panic and anxiety attacks and I am thankful for it. It does make me very tired. I have noticed that the Pellets dissolve completely in less then the 14 week period that is considered normal. After about 10 weeks and I can easily tell they are dissolved both by how I feel and that there is no sign of them under my skin. I exercise with a fairly high level of intensity for about 1.5 hours a day 6 days a week. I am curious if anyone has heard that high volumes of exercise cause the pellets to dissolve faster.
