Oval White Pill With Y one one side

I have discovered some white pills in my elderly mother's possession. They are small - approximately 6mm in length. They are smooth on boths sides with a Y on one side. I would like to know what these pills possibly could be. They were purchased in South Africa. ## Based on your description the closest match I could find is a white oval pill marked with two Y's on one side and blank w/ a score line on the other. This particular pill is identified as Xyzal (levocetirizine) 5 mg; used to treat allergies. NOTE: each "Y" is red in color Manufacturer: Sanofi-Aventis If this doesn't match your pill, I hope it can at least help to narrow down your search. Has anyone else seen this pill before? ## Many thanks. The information provided has assisted me in positively identifyin... ...

ON is one Side with a 4 on the other and pill is Oval Shaped
2 Replies RSS
This is a white oval shaped pill. The ON is facing me, when I turn the pill over a 4 is facing upside down. I'm told this is a .25mg xannax, but I need to be sure. ## The pill is a longer oval shape then most oval type xannax, and is .25 mg as I had suspected. They are nust a new manufacturer. I called poison control, for difinitive answer, because the Pharmacy was new and the pharmacist didn't speak good english. ## Your best bet is checking with your local pharmacy since their may be many different MFG's of this medication and they take what is available from the supplier. Some are generic. So, I check with your pharmacy to be on the safe side. I have had a one time where the pharmacy put the wrong meds in the wrong bottle before. They do make human errors. ...

Does any body know what kind of pill this is it has 15 on one side and. P and a R on the other side ## Hi Jack, Is there anyway you can verify that the letters are in fact P R or if it just "looks like it may be P R", but potentially could be something different? Reason I ask is because the closest match I'm seeing on the web for a white oval pill has a 15 on one side and 9 3 on the other. And I suppose if the marking was faded or unclear, it could be mistaken for something else, but wanted to double check with you before jumping to conclusions... Also, did you get this from a real licensed pharmacy here in the US? ...

White Oblong Oval Pill With Score On One Side And Blank The Other
1 Reply RSS
I have several White Oblong Oval Pills With a Score On One Side And Blank The Other. it is a 1/4 inch thick and has no taste. ## If there are no markings, it is most likely going to be difficult to narrow down what they contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured prescription tablet, because they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. That means it's most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it open to many possibilities. Where did you find them? Had you purchased any OTC products or supplements recently? ...
