If the pill is a white oval with P500 on one side and nothing on the other then it is (Equate extra strength pain reliever/fever reducer acetaminophen 500mg) I'm literally getting ready to take 2 of them after I'm done typing this. If it's a white oval pill that has "P" on one side and "500" on the opposite side then and ONLY THEN is it a ciprofloxacin... This has come up before and from the limited information I can find in foreign resources, it is manufactured by a Palestinian company and the only 500mg tablet they make contains Acetaminophen/Paracetamol. It is used to treat pain and fever. The FDA lists the side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Sites are showing me pink oval pills like that that are acetaminophen/propoxyphene but none white, and other sites are coming up with a white oval pill with P on one side and 500 on the other as an antibiotic. ## This is over the counter Acetaminophen 500mg. The pill with this imprint has been identified as Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (500 mg). It is white, but also capsule-shaped or oval as opposed to round.
